Just been sitting around thinking about my trip to Japan and how I've missed my homestay family. It's been oh so long. I keep wanting to go back but I don't want to go to Japan without a working visa.
So..I thought back to the time the exchange trip had us visit their different schools. When we visited some of the schools with younger kids...on of the times they took us to face against Japanese schoolgirls at sports! And they were young too. They couldn't have been any older than 12! We were struggling against them at all sports. Man those girls were fierce. We had to give it our all against them. I remember losing the high jump myself. And the other guys who decided to face them at basketball were struggling pretty hard. It was like going against a bunch of amazon warriors. Yes, I wrote this just to show the fact we all got our butts pretty much kicked by little Japanese girls. *hangs head in shame*
I'm sure I could have beaten them at skateboarding though.
Whatever they do to get their kids so tough in Japan we need to apply the same to this country! Seriously, sports in k-12 school here isn't nearly what it is in Japan.
