Just saw Music Japan with Berryz Kobo as guests. Saw Miya in that pink dress. She was extremely uncomfortable throughout the whole show. That screencap didn't give the real impression. If you get the chance watch the video of the episode. Once Miya realise that the camera got a good look there she did her best to cover herself with her hands. She can't even sit straight anymore. She tried sitting sideways but then her skirt would pull up an expose more of her thigh instead. It was painful watching Miya go thru that. Feel sorry for her. One could say part of the fault was her's or Berryz Kobo's manager. Either one could request for a blanket. I have seen some guess with a blanket to cover their thigh if they felt their skirt were too short. I hope she learned her lesson and be prepared in the future.

but don't they usually have safety shorts within their costumes? I know it's what I wear whenever I go for skirts/ dresses and I kinda thought that H!P had them as a rule.

That's exactly what I thought, like why isn't she wearing shorts? Or are they shorts and we can't tell?

^ I'm pretty sure they are shorts, sort of like boxers with a print on them so they look more like panties if the leg rides up a bit.

I mean, especially with the move she does during the performance where she moves from one knee to the other.... she's wide open for a bit!

I doubt management would allow that if she weren't wearing anything underneath.

 

I've seen AKB's Rina Kawaei on a show with a skirt shorter and tighter than Miya's and at first it looked like she was showing "the goods" but when she shifted a little you could actually see that she was wearing print boxer like shorts underneath..... good thing, cause that skirt was really short!

Yeah, exactly. Unless the shorts were too short, but that would really defeat the purpose since it'd be the same length as underwear.

I'm sure that was safety-mini-short under it. Miya & management must be know about it, but it's kinda embarrassed to exposed like that.

Man, I really think out of all the Berryz, Miyabi has the brightest future. For some reason I imagine her as becoming internationally famous. I can imagine her with a really handsome man, like Miura Haruma or Chris Hemsworth handsome and singing for like her whole life, but always being loyal to Berryz. I'm REALLY excited for Berryz's future, but most particularly Miyabi's.
