Will it make her less of a person if she did minor surgeries?
2ch can be hilarious. They have a big thread about Airi's Tweet on silently pushing people with her elbow in the train.

Will it make her less of a person if she did minor surgeries?
Probably.
She keeps her natural teeth, uses tape for eyelid, increased her weight to let her face looked not scattered
Surgery will let her imagine less consistent.

Absolutely totally and certainly false!I hope all surgery threads about Airi are false

Airi 2018 vs Airi 2006 vs Airi 2003:

With her it is easy to verify because she is an idol since she was very young. From what I see, in all this years her facial features didn't changed, just followed a natural development
I think it's pretty rare to go from slanted to round eyes, but I really don't care if she got a surgery. It's just another level of cosmetics, which idols already are very deep into. Wearing zero or minimal makeup is rare to nonexistent among idols, so I don't see why the same expectation can't be set for cosmetic surgery.

Is that a reverse chikan - like, when pretty girls start touching you on the train?
I wish someone would translate. Based on rudimentary Google translation, 2ch is saying Airi has a bad attitude for complaining on Twitter about people not saying sorry when they push with their elbows in crowded trains.

Her crooked tooth and the resulting slurred speech are an asset in Japan, though. It's cute for them. Also I don't believe the weight gain story. She just graduated, was inactive, yet kept the same lifestyle of frequent Starbucks and whatever else she ate.

I think her round eyes are a result of makeup. Perhaps this is her high school photo without any makeup. Her eyes in other images at that time look round.

Based on Google translation, I feel this was her intention.

Anyone got a video of that IG live where the camera was behind Airi during a performance? What an interesting perspective.
Also I wish someone would translate this interview... http://matsuri.5ch.n...ffee/1538730728

I have been inactive on this forum so I missed out on all the surgery talk. Why would people suddenly say she went for plastic surgery? Anyone mind giving me a summary/link? The page linked previously has been taken down.

I feel like this is just that her eyes aren't fully open in the sunlight, and it might have been captured mid-blink.
I don't care if she does surgery, but to me she pretty much looks the same as her childhood photos, so it's surprising to suddenly read this.
In other news, someone compiled all the fan photos of Airi taken at the recent Satoyama & Satoumi event and put them on Facebook. Original photographers are credited in the description of the album.
My favorite picture.

I just went back and looked at a lot of photos of Airi, and I can't tell if she had eye surgery or not. The shape of her eyes does change subtly from photo to photo. Some times she has a "single eyelid" & sometimes it appears she has a "double eyelid" even. Maybe it has something to do with water retention, or how hydrated she is, on any given day. Whether or not the photo was taken in bright natural sunlight, or artificial light. Double eyelid surgery is very popular in Asia right now. Anyway it is all Airi and she is all beautiful all the time.

I seem to remember there was a video of Mari Yaguchi revealing her big-eye make-up secrets. So.... surgery no, make-up yes.

Edit: as an Asian living in Asia, I can personally confirm that your eyes can change a lot as you grow up btw! Like when you're younger and have baby fats so even your eyelids are fattier. Or for some reason your double eyelids only show occasionally, like if you didn't sleep enough the previous night or you cried a lot... :'(
That sounds like a very logical explanation.

Anyone got a translation of this? I wish they would do more IG lives. I especially like the Ray IG live which seemed candid.

She said she was able to come home for once due to a cancelled event in Chiba. Do idols normally live in apartments near the office? Must be hard for the younger members, no?
