Accomodation
Chibilolli quote:
"I just want to let you know that this area of Paris in particular is not one of the safest. Although it's very touristy - due to it being near Montmartre (Sacré Coeur) and, of course, the Moulin Rouge - it is also Paris' red light district and quite a dodgy neighbourhood to boot! I would not recommend walking around there alone during the evening / night. Especially being a girl. Of course, there are going to be many Buono! / H!P fans there, so you'll have company for most, if not all of the day.

I would also like to add that I really don't recommend looking for a hotel in this area if you're thinking of staying more than 1 night (on your own). Nor around Gare du Nord / Gare de L'Est. These area's are cheap, but not very safe."

I'll be going if i can get a ticket at the standard price. Don't really want to pay reseller prices just for Buono! on their own. But unless i completely drop the ball and miss tickets im definately going. Now to start working out travel and hotel costs so i know how much money i have for buying goods XD

lol, good thing I've decided to return from Japan at the end of January and not extend my stay there into February...

So of course I'll be in Paris.

Low ticket numbers?
Didn't catch that. How many tickets will be available?

(Would be weird to only sell a little amount of tickets. Wouldn't a trip to France be a lot of money, so they probably need to sell a lot of tickets to make a profit?)

^ Le Central, which is the concert hall that the live will take place in, only holds 800 people.

I will definitely be going, with chibilolli :)

Someone has pointed out that the Machine du Moulin Rouge only accepts people over 18, as it is a club and serves alcohol. On their site, it indeed says: "En tant que club et débitant de boissons alcoolisées, La Machine du Moulin Rouge n’accepte que les personnes majeures (18 ans et +)".
I wonder if they'll lift these regulations for that one evening and shut the bar altogether, else people under 18 will not be able to attend...

@ Nao-Kun: Now now don't develop that British tourist attitude :P You can't expect every country to speak English for you when its not even their language.

@ La'aKea: That could be a problem i hope they do something about that age restriction. Though it'd keep the weaboo's away XD it'd be a shame if normal fans under 18 couldn't go. Surely they can just have some sort of system where they get some wristbands for over 18's so they can get served at the bar without having to show I.D each time.

I don't think so, as far as I know, they never lifted that regulation before.

^ If they don't limit the age, then it means that they have to shut the bar. French regulations on alcohol.

800 tickets is far more than enough, Berryz had less than 800 Fans in Seattle and Seattle is like next door to Japan if you compare how far Paris is from Japan, so there will be less Fans from Japan plus absolutely no random fillers because its a event on its own and no Anime Con around it.

I'm considering to go there. I'm not the biggest Buono fan, but I really like them and I want t support them! And after missing MM in Paris and regretting it really much, I've sworn myself that I want to go to the next H!P event in Europe no matter who's coming and where.

anyway, first I have to check out the following:
- price of concert ticket
- price of traveling there (probably via airplane, train would take like 20 hours XD )
- price of accommodation
- checking out who's coming with me. I've got a friend who likes H!P (I got her into it ;) ) but not especially Buono. She might come with me though. Otherwise my boyfriend might come because he doesn't want me to go alone... cute. ^_^ depends on the price though.
I'd probably go there on February 11th until 13th. I've never been in Paris before so I'd like to at least visit he Eiffel Tower.

but I'm afraid I won't get a ticket. Only 800... and I don't know where to get it. It will probably be a Japanese homepage? My Japanese is not good enough to understand. ^^;

and yay~ I'm 19. So I personally don't care about that age thing... if it's really 18 and not 20 or 21. XD

Who knows, there are a lot of Japanfans in France you know.
There are reasons why bands like L'Arc en Ciel always go to France, even inside big concert halls.

Next to the US, France probably holds the largest amount of H!P fans of the Western countries (and JPOP in general)

EDIT: what's basically been said while I was typing up this post

In France it's 18.

France is the longest running J fandom center they've had anime fandom since the 80's along with J pop and J rock fandom. The Americans like to think they got into it first but they didn't ;)

Yeah, this is going to be a tough ticket to get, but I will do my best to be there!

So, if it's an 18+ event... will Airi be allowed in??? XD
