I like sheki-dol too, and i was surprised at how good the pictures in the cd single sleeves are. I lvoe th eorange one from kokoro no pheromone!
I bought their singles on impulse, and was scared it would be a bad decision. Turns out it wasn't!

I was curious, why Sheki-Dol???

There is some info on their name at the japanese wikipedia, but i can't translate it.

I dont think they sold that well.. From what i know all of their singles was outside top 100.
Michiyo Heike also sold few singles. Maybe Japan wasn't itnerested in rock sound songs at that time..?

From what I have and what I know (check this page) Sheki Dol have not been captured live in further H!P dvds, which is a total shame

At last, I've heard all their songs! I loved the Pheromon song (anyway, what is pheromone?), and also the Unmei one. But my favorite song was Ai wa Muteki (4th single). Now that I've heard them and seen them (Pheromone PV), my regret deepens of knowing they disbanded.

And additionally, i am very, very, GRRRR. to Suenaga Mami!!!! Why did she become preggy? GRRR

I heard that what they (Tsunku?) decide to play in a concert depends on the ratings given by the fans/fan-club-members..
(p/s. applies to all if not, most of their perf. thus how the wota's are well prepared to sing along, except for some medley, or songs covered by different members.. though all they need to do is change the name of the cheer/shout.. )

you beat me up into it! now, the PV I really liked was the one for "Pheromone." Ami and Ibuki, as I saw, really bonded a lot.

Some opinions: I only consider Ibuki and Ami THE Sheki-Dol and I do not consider the other two. But Ami was really THE sheki-dol because she was still there in the end. Sorry for bad grammar.

Like most of us here, when I caught up with Hello!Project, Sheki Dol were history! I cannot tell which ones of their members were "true", "dedicated" or not, but it's strange to see that, after that pregnancy occurence, the remaining active members did not go on as Sheki Dol (line up changes is rule in H!P) or in other units. Total(itarian) withdrawal of S.D. was cruel...
