You know what I miss? The guy who used to upload video's of that cute hand puppet thing running around tokyo looking for morning musume single promotion adverts whenever a new single was being released. Anyone know what happened to him, if he still posts videos like that?

Yea he didn't make fun on him bit rather made a laughingstock out of himself by dancing to Wakuteka as well. I think he rather felt for Aitor and wanted to be nice by doing it himself.

I read that he took the video down because of copyright claims by UF. Though I'm not sure if it's true.

The copyright claim was from NHK I believe, that was where the clip Pewdiepie used came from.

He re-uploaded it again with the segment still in it about an hour ago.  It looks like he's trying to edit in and out different individual clips until he finds a combination that beats the system.

Yeah I don't think UF cares that much about copyright especially with the years worth of concert footage that is available on youtube. It's most likely NHK, like when other shows put footage from other shows they always censor the watermark and stuff.

^^^ maybe not the best place, but I'm really curious now to what Little Glee Monster did to become popular enough for this show. Last I was into them there where nobodies. So what did they do worthy to be on this show then? I just never knew they become popular/

Probably late to respond to this, but I know they snagged the 2nd ending song for Boku no Hero Academia which is a really popular anime. And more recently they do the 2nd opening song for Boruto, which is also a fairly popular anime in Japan and has the Naruto franchise name tagged onto it. I think the song's called OVER, and they performed it in a lot of music shows.

 

That said, they are REALLY good vocally and are really pleasant to hear, both in studio and in their live performances. It's a nice breath of fresh air when you have an oversaturation of idol groups with not-very-good/consistent-vocals. Though idk if they're considered an idol group. They're more a glee club, or an acapella group, and can hold their own among older singers. They're probably replacing MomoClo on Kohaku. But you know, it shows that talent still gets noticed by the public, and the public loves them. If I'm being unbiased, collectively, they're vocally a lot better than any H!P group out right now. I only recently found out about them, and they're honestly really great and deserve to be on Kohaku this year. The test is if they can keep the popularity up after Kohaku or after their vocal gimmick starts fading. Personally I thought BRIGHT would last longer than they did, they were an awesome group with awesome RnB inspired songs --- but they didn't last long. Really does come down to marketing. Like if they don't know how to adapt or keep their audience hooked, they'll be like another Babymetal.
