Origin of the name "Ohasumi":
There was a time in the summer when I kept sleeping around 2am because I would skype with my best friends who lived across the globe. We were always conflicted on what the right goodbye was --- Oyasumi or Ohayou because it was technically both night and day. So we combined the two words and settled on "Ohasumi" to mean both. We use this phrase now whenever we chat until dawn.
How I came to know Hello! Project:
I first knew about H!P when Shugo Chara first aired --- around 2006 (I was 12 years old). At that time, I was also watching Kirarin Revolution in tandem. Somehow I came to like the songs and also stumbled upon Kusumi Koharu's music videos. I thought she was really cute and I enjoyed a lot of her . And then at the same time, I saw Buono!'s Honto no Jibun's music video and fell in love. I have then followed both Buono! and Koharu consistently. My interest on Kirarin Revolution waned, and I came to like Buono more. From them, I discovered C-ute, Berryz Koubou, and Morning Musume. But I only paid attention to Buono until their activity halted. Now I mostly follow C-ute and Momosu. Fan since 2006 to present (10 years now)
About Me:
I am an aspiring Software Engineer living in California who was born in 1994. I work part-time as a Lead Counselor in a Minecraft server (it's an awesome job!) where we collaborate with educational institutions to teach coding, engineering, and game design! My interests include Space (Astronomy, Particle Physics, Quantum Theory, etc.), Programming (I love C++, algorithms, and new technologies), and Baking (who doesn't like sugar?). I'm good at code reviews, so feel free to hit me up if you want someone to look at your code. There are also two things that I love about programming; first is that I love problem solving and thinking outside the box, and second is that I love testing and debugging --- it's a guilty pleasure. I bake when I'm stressed. My favorite things to bake are fruit tarts, meringues, and french macarons.

I love Minecraft
I play a lot of Town of Salem
I love creative writing, and I mostly write either fantasy or love stories
I used to fandub back in the day! I don't mind singing with people now either. Just ask!
I used to make AMVs (anime music videos) too. Started with Windows Movie Maker, and then levelled up to Sony Vegas.
