About Me
to her brow, she puts the blade.
now left, now right, all guardians fade.
she steps ahead, death's price now paid,
into the dragon's palace.
such a strange thing -
my heart is my own,
yet it won't do as i want it.
if i die of a love unknown to her,
pointlessly,
which god would carry the unfounded blame?
if unknown to her, i die of longing
while i wait for her to come,
for what shall i say i have exchanged my life?
i'm just whispering to myself
so i can't pretend
that i don't know.
