Yes, there are already threads similar to this. Thing is, the posts there didn't elaborate what made them choose their faves.

You can gush over your oshi as long as you want. A fellow fan of your oshi might want to read it all thoroughly, most likely.
A chance also to show how proud you are of her/them regardless of her status in H!P or in idol world in general. Or to introduce her to those who don't know a single thing about your oshi.

I became interested in Masaki Sato because she's not an ideal girl for me (almost opposite to some degree) yet one day I just found myself wanting to see and know more of her; her funny clips on YT, messing around with others, hearing her cute voice, making me cracked up by seeing her cracked up as well along with her ridiculous way of laughing.
I like her looks, her simple facial features especially the contour of her jaw. She has gentle eyes and anime-like lips when smiling.
She easily became my favorite because she gets along well with others like Reina, Riho and especially my former oshi Sayumi (my ideal girl lol). There are days that the only reason why I face a computer or any gadget is to watch SayuRihoMaa interactions on YT. I've never been like that on any idol or celebs 
Her talents and charisma as an artist are super bonus points for me. You may call her silly and absurd, but this girl has full of surprises and twists up her sleeves. An oddball perhaps, part angelic, part devilish. She'd make you laugh, amazed, curious, annoyed, worried and baffled. She's a random machine. A notorious troublemaker, a headache for the management, but a darling for her friends and peers. She dislikes handshake events and pretty bold about expressing it (ex. hides under the table; does some sort of quirky ritual, dance and chant instead of shaking fans' hands, sprays perfume on them, etc. etc.) I find all of these amusing and hilarious.
Sometimes, whether in Japanese or translated in English, her language is incomprehensible. Most of the time though, she doesn't even need to speak to convey to us how pure her feelings are, how clever she is, and how sincere she is at whatever she does.
I've been a fan of hers for 3 or 4 years (?) and never been fed up with her antics and personality. My normal rest/dull days have become brighter and exciting ever since I saw her.
My dream for her is to become a successful artist, an influential public figure, either as a post-MM musician or a composer. Tho she once said that she just wanted to be a piano teacher.
But one day, she also said she wants to be bigger than Tsunku.
