I never know who to cheer for when San Jose and Calgary play each other...

My hometown is san jose, but I grew up in and lived most of my life in Calgary. I like both teams a lot. I hate it when both have to play each other for elimination in the playoffs...
It sure makes for great hockey though

Lol I'd rather take it one series at a time. But yeah that last game was depressing. Getting outshot 10 to 32... man. Kipper did what he could so it sucks that the Flames couldn't captalize when they had the chances. Hope they can work that out for the next game.

And wow, Pens-Sens series is done already? Daaaaamn. So uh go habs

EDIT:
@zeroyon: lol posted faster than me but yeah definitely

As an Oilers fan I am cheering for San Jose to rid the playoffs of the highly overrated & undeserving Flames. I'm waiting to commence my happy dance when they get eliminated. Hopefully this Sunday when they play on their home ice.

After that I look forward to watching any games involving the Pens or Habs.

YAY an Oilers fan!!

I'm also an Oilers fan (as my second team) and my bro is a big Oilers fan. I think its a great time to be an Oilers fan right now though, cause what Edmonton did at the end of this season was a good preview of what they'll be like next year. All the young guys are developing well, and hopefully with the injured veterans back (Souray, Horcoff, Moreau, etc...) edmonton will be a top team next year.

As for the habs... well last night was just sad, we could have kicked the Bruins out of the playoffs but instead sat back on a 1 goal lead in the first and then got our butts handed to us. I hope the team takes that as a good wake up call and shows up next game, or else I'm afraid we'll be golfing sooner then expected.

With a few roster tweaks the Oil will win the NW next season. As for the Habs, it looked like Price got rattled a bit as he let in a softie near the end of the game. I hope Montreal shakes off that loss & takes Boston out next game.

Uh-oh, New York Rangers were looking like they would eliminate Jersey cleanly tonight but Jersey won't leave without a fight. It was 4-1 before just like 5 minutes ago but now with 2 quick goals in the 2nd its become 4-3.

Hmm somehow I don't think jersey has it in them to actually pull off the win...

Sorry steve, but I wouldn't shake that loser's hand either.

All series long he's been taking jabs at Brodeur, involving things that ae off the ice, things in Brodeur's personal life. Honestly, I know people who actually KNOW Avery in person (he's from Pickering) and they all tell me he was a whacko.

I really don't think someone like him should be allowed to play hockey, he's got no class.

EDIT: looks like Detroit has won, bad defensive play by the Nashville player -_-

I can't believe the Det/Nash game even had to go into overtime. . . Ozzy was doing so well until then. . . Anyway, they're only a game from ending the series. :good:

Avery/Brodeur drama was actually kind of fun to watch. ^^;

XD :P x_x XD

I can't believe it, my team is on a course for disaster...
This series shouldn't have even gone to 6 games and now after tonight's meltdown we'll be going to 7 games.

1 game left and in all honestly I see one team on the ice that wants to win, and it ain't my habs. Boston skates harder, hits harder, and makes smarter plays.

Win or lose I just want this series to end, I won't be watching Monday's game due to exams, but I pray the team can pull it together for 1 last game.

Just finished watching the MTL/BOS game. That was some great hockey, too bad Montreal lost. I hope they manage to finish off the Bruins on Monday.

Well, Det wrapped up their series today; won 3-0 over the Preds with goals from Lidstrom, Hudler, and Rafalski. XD Can't wait to find out who they play in the second round.

I think if Calgary manages to survive then they will face Detroit. Otherwise it will be DET vs. COL in the 2nd round.

You know what the two most exciting words in sports are???

GAME 7

And the habs just so happen to have one tonight. To day I'm nervous is a huge understatement, I didn't sleep for a while last night just thinking about tonight's game.
Sadly though I've still got exams especially one tomorrow and I only got home 1 hour ago... so yah I don't know if I'll be able to watch tonight's game but I will try!!

GO HABS GO

(even if you lose I still love you ) <3

WOOO WOOOOO

5-0 habs end the seriesss in game 7 @ home.

What a win, Price was great, our top lines were firing and the defense although a bit shaky at times got it done.

Now a little break and either Philadelphia or New york in the second round (please not New York)
