My hometown is san jose, but I grew up in and lived most of my life in Calgary. I like both teams a lot. I hate it when both have to play each other for elimination in the playoffs...
It sure makes for great hockey though

I'm also an Oilers fan (as my second team) and my bro is a big Oilers fan. I think its a great time to be an Oilers fan right now though, cause what Edmonton did at the end of this season was a good preview of what they'll be like next year. All the young guys are developing well, and hopefully with the injured veterans back (Souray, Horcoff, Moreau, etc...) edmonton will be a top team next year.
As for the habs... well last night was just sad, we could have kicked the Bruins out of the playoffs but instead sat back on a 1 goal lead in the first and then got our butts handed to us. I hope the team takes that as a good wake up call and shows up next game, or else I'm afraid we'll be golfing sooner then expected.

All series long he's been taking jabs at Brodeur, involving things that ae off the ice, things in Brodeur's personal life. Honestly, I know people who actually KNOW Avery in person (he's from Pickering) and they all tell me he was a whacko.
I really don't think someone like him should be allowed to play hockey, he's got no class.
EDIT: looks like Detroit has won, bad defensive play by the Nashville player -_-

Avery/Brodeur drama was actually kind of fun to watch.

I can't believe it, my team is on a course for disaster...
This series shouldn't have even gone to 6 games and now after tonight's meltdown we'll be going to 7 games.
1 game left and in all honestly I see one team on the ice that wants to win, and it ain't my habs. Boston skates harder, hits harder, and makes smarter plays.
Win or lose I just want this series to end, I won't be watching Monday's game due to exams, but I pray the team can pull it together for 1 last game.

GAME 7
And the habs just so happen to have one tonight. To day I'm nervous is a huge understatement, I didn't sleep for a while last night just thinking about tonight's game.
Sadly though I've still got exams especially one tomorrow and I only got home 1 hour ago... so yah I don't know if I'll be able to watch tonight's game but I will try!!
GO HABS GO
(even if you lose I still love you )

5-0 habs end the seriesss in game 7 @ home.
What a win, Price was great, our top lines were firing and the defense although a bit shaky at times got it done.
Now a little break and either Philadelphia or New york in the second round (please not New York)
