Hey in the playoffs everything changes. Regular season can be thrown out the window for the most part.
I was just glad we came out strong and didn't underestimate the bruins. Once we took the lead then there was no looking back.

Hope the rest of the games go on like this.

P.S. Ovenchkin versus philly tonight. Should be interesting, maybe I'll catch the last little bit.

Edit: Wow, what a game. Senators gets lucky and somehow climbs back in the game. Glad we got some justice in the end. Shots 50-34!!! Crosby gets 4 second assist hahaha.

Yah aside from a good second period the sens were getting their butts handed to them all game.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say this series will end in 4.

I havent seen a thread for hockey yet, so i hope this one will do.

I got into hockey since '99. I play inline hockey mostly with a bunch of friends playing semi-organized against other "teams." One day we hope to get sponsored in an actual league.

Haha wow Flames. Only caught the last bit though.... But still coming back from 3-0 (in the first 3-4 mins too) to win 3-4
But man go Nolan and Cujo! Hope Kipper does better next time though.
Hopefully I'll be able to catch whole games once finals are done...

Yah it was a pretty odd game.
I didn't watch the whole thing either, but I saw when it went 3-0 and then I thought it would be a blowout night. But cujo played great.
You think they'll give him a start next game? or will they go back to kipper? From what I heard the early goals weren't really kipper's fault, just some bad defensive coverage.

Too bad you don't like the Red Wings. . . (They do have Hasek, after all. ) I've been watching hockey since '97, always been a Red Wings fan, because they represent my beloved state. I have to admit, though, I rather liked Manny Legace as goal-tender. Osgood and Hasek have been kind of "off their game" lately. . .

I'm thinking we'd start Joseph next game but that's just me. And yeah, poor defense has been plaguing Kipper all season. But still, this is the playoffs so we can't just have them be good, they need to be supermen (but help would be nice). Flames are underdogs here and for good reason so I hope they can keep the momentum.

Ahhh hope Montreal can finish the series on Thursday, that way I'll just focus on studying for the weekend and wrap up my exams on Tuesday...
Not to mention Thursday's game is at home, and that would be awesome if the habs won it in front of their home crowd.

^ As much as I like Brodeur, I have to say, what Avery did was kind of. . . awesome. And now they're adding this stupid Avery-rule-thing, which sucks. . . I was looking forward to seeing more of that from him.

Avery has yet to comment on it. And the coach changes the subject (when asked about it, he said "look, we're focusing on New Jersey, not this) Broduer said it was "the first time this ever happened and IT WORKED! i couldn't see anything" ( )

LOL Were those the same senators that won 13 straight to start the season? I don't think so, that was a completely one sided series, and I'm glad the senators got what was coming. Ever since January they haven't been a playoff team, its a shame they prevented another more talented team from getting into the playoffs.

Oh well, so I guess now Pittsburgh gets a long break and waits for their next opponent, If Washington wins then it'll be Ovechkin vs. Crosby in the second round. If Philadelphia wins than its the winner of the New Jersey v. New York series. (I'm personally hoping Philadelphia wins because I'd rather Montreal face them than either one of New York or New Jersey (Granted we make it ).
