Finally finished this series...It doesn't feel like an ending, I want more =/. Fortunately enough the anime is coming out i guess.

What do you think of Nodame's voice?

After the wonderful Juri Ueno in the drama it just sounds, well, awful.

Still, I'll probably stick with it on the assumption, no doubt incorrect, that it will take the story further than the drama did.

Finally broke down and decided to get the raws and SRTs (registration required) for the drama after watching some of the anime and the hardsubbed 1-2 which were on veoh. Nodame's anime voice was Fuu from Samurai Champloo as well so I think it works fine. Looking forward to getting the hardsubs though so I can watch it on the TV.

why don't you get a DVD player that plays Dvix?

DVD player does play divx and all that stuff. Just recently found out it plays SRT files too but not sure how well since I was watching Linda Linda Linda and the subtitles started getting weird. Besides, hardsubbed files are usually smaller and can fit more onto a DVD. Will try watching the raw/srt version later.

The problem with the hardsubs is that they are not authorized by the subber that did the subs and she's kind of annoyed by them ...

I see. Either way looks like I'm off to get a S-Video to RCA cable or something like it since the DVD player shows the srt files but stops after about 18 minutes. Ah the things one does to share great drama with the technologically challenged.

Is that your username on the jpopsuki forums/tracker as well? If so I've had discussion with you regarding this awesome drama there too.

No worries as I use a different name there since I've recently become more of a Luna Sea fan which prompted this username. Besides those forums are rather slow in comparison. Although the tracker rocks as always.

Nodame is so great one of my friends who ussually listen to non-classical music got really hook with classic now.. he's watching out classical concert in here.. nodame after effect is so great..

i finally watched all the eps over the span of the last 2-3 days
just awesome, the music is beautiful, which is a given as it's classical music, the plot was not a cookie cutter one which was something i really yearn for (i'm very picky nowadays as to waht i watch), it was like a breath of fresh air to watch, i thoroughly enjoyed it, i even cried a bit at the end when they played beethoven's symphony no. 7 in their own unique was reminding me of the s-oke, enough to make me rewatch that ep again where it first appeared

I don't know why I started with the anime first though
