This is possibly my favourite release from them since ever! The mermaid MV is so pretty! And yeah, the MVs are cute and creative.

 

My only complaint is that whoever chose the makeup chose some lip products that looked pretty patchy. It's really noticeable on several of the girls in the MVs.

Although all the songs have been good and their MVs have had very good parts, I definitely stick with "Aisare Route A or B?" in first place, "Oyogenai Mermaid" in second and "Hakkiri Shiyou ze" in third.

 

 

This is my ranking, as well. "Aisare Route A or B?" is pretty sophisticated even for an H!P idol group. Straight 3-time, jazzy jump-swing that sounds like a Shiina Ringo single. Crazy.

 

You know who should do a solo cover of this? Meimi Tamura, that's who.

I like all three songs but I think Mermaid is the best for me. Definitely feels very Tsunku-era H!P, weirdly enough.

Momona was STUNNING in that dress in A or B!!! And Rikako looks amazing in all three MVs, this girl’s a true visual. It’s nice to see her getting more lines lately but she’s not their strongest singer so it is a bit surprising…

And as someone else mentioned — the dances were very chaotic and all over the place. Sometimes simplicity is best, especially with a large group that’s got a good mix of seasoned girls and newbies to varying degrees. Doing stuff that’s too fancy ends up looking sloppy…

On first listens, the 3 songs are just alright, nothing fantastic. The music videos are nicely produced. I was expecting the newbies to have a song that features them heavily, but I was wrong. The seniors still got the major chunks of the songs.

First time I've listened to the songs and they're good but kind of forgetful. Maybe it'll grow on me. 

The MVs and the girls look amazing tho.

I haven't really liked an angerme release in so many years, but this one has me so hype All 3 songs are great, and the new members are so fresh. I felt like before angerme has mostly very strong personalities, but now it feels more balanced. Very nice!

I actually felt the way they shot it looks really awkward in the MV… the camera angle is really awkward and unflattering, and feels rather… claustrophobic? Maybe it’s just me. Aside from poor Chinami being very close to the bookshelf, I think Berryz’ MV used the space better in terms of the angle/way it was shot.

Hakkiri is interesting. These cover songs are getting frequent now huh? even using them as the first a-side.

Oyogenai is my JAM! Those yura yura parts are giving me chills. I couldn't get enough of it. and i think this song perfectly introduced us the new gen.

Unfortunately, i didnt feel anything for A or B. this reminded me of C-ute quite a bit, but for them, it suited quite nicely.
