I was a little disappointed by the MM footage of The Music Day. There was so few Maa-chan in it. 

Actually right now I'm worried what will happen to Maa-chans prominent role after the addition of Chisaki and management focussing on the new MM gens in the new profile pics. 

 

It's not like we could ever rely on the management to properly push Maa-chan before she managed to get popular without getting features on tv and magazines.

This episode was a lot more fun than last time where Maachan didn't say much at all.

I translated the bits I found most interesting. Hope I managed to keep it as funny as it was in Japanese:

あの、ゲネプロっていう、衣装を全部着て、で、本番通りに 
スタジオで行う、リハーサルのことなんですけれども、その時に、 
モーニング娘。'17の佐藤優樹さんがJuice=Juiceの机に 
やって来てて。もうね、大暴れして帰ってましたよ。フッフフフフ。 
大暴れっていうのかな、何かもうずっとゲラゲラゲラゲラゲラ～ 
って笑ってて（笑）、もう、明るい子だなって思いながら、 
ね、すごい、面白い子だなって思ったし、私の、あの、iPhoneで、 
何か、ずーっと、ね、写真を勝手に（笑）、実は撮ってたりとか。 
でもそのおかげで私のブログの写真が救われたりとか。 
あとは、何かもう常に笑ってるなって、佐藤さんは。思ってて。 
何かほんとハロー！プロジェクトのメンバーって、ほんとに

宮崎＜あ、もう一つじゃあ、Juice=Juiceじゃないこと話すと、
その、ハロー！プロジェクトのコンサートのゲネプロの時に、
あの、ゲネプロっていう、衣装を全部着て、で、本番通りに
スタジオで行う、リハーサルのことなんですけれども、その時に、
モーニング娘。'17の佐藤優樹さんがJuice=Juiceの机に
やって来てて。もうね、大暴れして帰ってましたよ。フッフフフフ。
大暴れっていうのかな、何かもうずっとゲラゲラゲラゲラゲラ～
って笑ってて（笑）、もう、明るい子だなって思いながら、
ね、すごい、面白い子だなって思ったし、私の、あの、iPhoneで、
何か、ずーっと、ね、写真を勝手に（笑）、実は撮ってたりとか。
でもそのおかげで私のブログの写真が救われたりとか。
あとは、何かもう常に笑ってるなって、佐藤さんは。思ってて。

As you probably heard, I've received a message from Morning Musume '17 member Satou Masaki.
She said she thought that I didn't like her at first, but now she's happy that I often call out to her.
And yes, Maachan is right. When I first met Maachan, my first impression was "She might be the type of girl I'm not good with.". (lol)
I guess it was because she was a little kid? I don't like little kids who are too touchy-feely, you know? And she'd try to hug me every time.
I always thought "What is with this kid?", and, funny enough, Maachan hasn't changed at all since then.
But well, I must have gotten used to it over time because whenever I see Maachan now, I think to myself "I bet she's going to hug me.".
And now, I'm happy when she jumps into my arms as soon as she sees me. Yeah.
But in case you didn't know, even Maachan is working hard in her own way. For example, she's always studying music videos and concert videos of other artists.
I was so impressed when I saw that. It made me realize that she's putting in a lot of effort to improve her own performance and I respect that a lot.
Yeah. That's why I want you all to know that Maachan is not always just fooling around.

(About the H!P concert rehearsals...)

Miyazaki＜ Ah, there's one more thing I want to tell you about that doesn't have anything to do with Juice=Juice.
During the H!P concert Generalprobe, umm, that's what we call the rehearsals where we rehearse in an actual studio wearing our costumes,
Morning Musume '17 member Satou Masaki-san came to Juice=Juice's table and went on a rampage before she left. Hehehehe.
I don't know if you rampage is the right word, but she was like laughing like crazy the whole time. (lol)
She's such a cheerful and funny girl. It seems she was using my iPhone to take pics without my permission. (lol)
But thanks to that, I have lots of pics I can post on my blog now. My impression of Satou-san is that she's always laughing.
I feel like there are so many interesting girls among H!P members. I'm sure I would have never realized it if it wasn't for this H!P rehearsal.
From now on, I'm going to try to talk to all kinds of other H!P members.

I find that when Maachan sings solo like in her birthday event, she tend to make her voice sounds deeper and shout or sing while using force sometimes.
It actually make her voice sound so bad
I wish that she won't use that technique cause it will destroy her voice and vocal chord.
I love it the most when she sings ballad song and use a soft voice while singing and not forcing her way through the songs.

Generalprobe though... xDD I actually had to laugh out loud after confirming that the word doesn't exist in English lololol 
Do you translate things to German prior to translating them to English? I always find it really sad that the German H!P fandom is so small and I'm always wondering if it's because younger people are too bad in English to get enough H!P content to stay hooked.

No, I don't translate Japanese texts into German before translating them into English. Thing is, Japanese has incorporated a lot of foreign words (like any other language, I guess), but they borrow surprisingly many words from German.
And as it happens, they actually use the term "GenePuro" which derives from the German word "Generalprobe". I left it like that because I thought it was funny.
Besides, if I'd translated it to "costume rehearsals" like most dictionaries suggest, it'd have become self-explanatory and rendered Miyazaki's explanation redundant.

About the German fanbase being small, it's probably just because Japanese pop culture is still not as popular in Germany as, say, in France. It's mostly just anime & manga that's made it to Germany.
I expect young French people to have about the same English skills as German youth, but there seems to be a much bigger fanbase for anything Japanese in France.
