Even if it's true, it probably wouldn't change much. If he was the mastermind or leader or w/e, a new one will emerge sooner or later and it won't change a thing. They might even come with a counterattack.

I doubt they would say they killed him if they haven't really done so. The implications would be much worse. Al Qaeda is a very strong and large group and I'm sure someone else will take over now.

And before you say "they said he died before", they actually did believe it once before. But it was soon verified that they hadn't. And they're reported on and off for years that maybe he's dead but they can't verify it.

I doubt it's fake but I did have the same thoughts myself. And I think that either way, there may very well be some form of retaliation and most likely will be one, two or maybe more 'leaders' popping up to take over.

And I'm not sure if this helps any, but many Muslims have funerals as soon as possible after death. Much quicker than the west, from what I've experienced.

I'm just worried for people I know both online and in real life who may have comments said to them or be verbally abused by people who are fanatically against anyone from the middle east because of this. Whenever something happens it always... seems to just make things worse.

Actually, I'm also worried about school today and how many people are going to be making horrible comments which I know will happen.

There's nothing wrong with Fox news. They're a decent news network, no worse than any of the others out there and better than some.

They reported on an article from Pakistan. They weren't the only ones to have picked up on it. So did the UK Daily Mail and some Egyptian newspapers.

Anyhow, if it's true, great news. I'm more inclined to believe he died years ago from missile attacks on bunkers, though. I also find it a little fishy, considering the body was almost immediately and conveniently buried at sea. Photographs can easily be doctored, so I'm not entirely sure I'd trust one, but then there are people who can analyze those things.

The worst thing is, regardless of his death being true or not, or when, there are already other leaders in place of bin Laden who are striving for worse attacks than what happened on 9/11.
