I'd say they'll continue like this, ain't gonna be much of a change in style as long as he's in charge.
Or do you wanna say if they're (UFA) even gonna try to have them change their minds about the "I'm leaving" thing.
And add a Reina (no need, heh).
What??
What???

Maybe you have to have a natural talent for being a known person.
I also wonder what will be with the eggs.

I suspect that as certain Eggs develop and get older they could possibly become replacements, especially for C-ute since they're the younger of the two groups.
UFA has made a commitment to talent development and all of the new people in the organization are expected to become marketable entities apart from the existing stable. Like any smart business, they're looking for new product to sell in expanding markets.

You might want to reword your post, because it implies (to me anyway) that someone's leaving Berryz when it hasn't been announced o.o

I know that Arisa Noto is no longer an H!P member, because she's just UFA now, but, for Kanna, Erika, and Yuri Sawada, are they just leaving for a while, and possibly coming back? I doubt we'll see Kanna agin, despite that most MoMusu members caught in scandals were still considerered H!P members. Sawada may very well do the same thing as Asami Konno, by graduating from Uni before returning. Erika, I also doubt we'll see again, but she'll still have the choice to come back wont she, or are the latter considering gone from the project?

Well, you have to look at something on a case-by-case basis. What I've been wondering is whether they'll still be considered H!P members?

1. Noto left because she didn't want to debut as a singer anymore (presumably), it's a change of direction, because H!P = J-Pop, UFA = acting and variety, which is what Noto has been doing.
2. For Sawada and Konno, it is possible she could return, but she may want to just put it behind her, Konno left on extremely good terms with UFA (including her Country Musume grad. appearance, which was a huge surprise). Also, Konno hasn't graduated yet, she's still studying.
3. Kanna left because of a scandal (supposedly). For Yaguchi and Miki, both of them graduate out of Morning Musume, but not Hello! Project. Considering Kanna's popularity would not warrant her being a soloist, and she left on bad terms, she isn't still within H!P. Yaguchi and Miki (the scandal-ed MM members) were still within H!P. See, in the herachy of things, being in Morning Musume is the top, and leaving the group is a sort of demotion. Making Kanna a soloist would be a promotion, not a demotion
4. It depends on how good Erika left with H!P. If she is still within UFA as a model (which she could do), then who knows what would happen? But chances are if she is willing to leave it's likely she won't return. Konno didn't leave to have another entertainment career, she left entertainment entirely then returned.
And giving a girl a solo career just because she's leaving has never been done, and has ZERO logic.

I think the attrition (loss of members) is more striking with C-ute and Berryz because, unlike Momusu, they've never had the rotating members/graduation thing. When previous girls left Momusu, there was usually a new generation to take their places but with C-ute and Berryz, it's been the same girls (with an exception or two) since the beginning. C-ute started out with eight, now they'll soon be down to five. Berryz started out with eight and they'll be down to six.
I suspect that as certain Eggs develop and get older they could possibly become replacements, especially for C-ute since they're the younger of the two groups.

This is true, but it's the problem with H!P. None of the groups are started like normal bands or groups, where a group of friends gets together and decides they want to be musicians. It's just random people who don't know each other being thrown together. You can't guarantee any type of long term element with that formula, and I think it's H!P's biggest weakness. Though, some sort of friendship may be formed once they are brought together, this is not guaranteed, and I'd be willing to bet a lot that most of the members in these groups really aren't friends, or wouldn't consider themselves to be good friends. There is just no feeling of obligation to each other to keep the group together, it's a bunch of individuals trying to attain their own goals. Like you said, this is a much bigger problem with C-ute and Berryz.

I didn't really expect any to return as soloists.
But, I guess, there's also no point in Erika or Yuri returning, seeing as their's nothing like Elder's Club or anything, to actually give something to do. Though, with Yuri being an Egg, she has more chance than Erika, as eggs often are made members of sub-groups.

Mmmhm. Wouldn't they be friends? They've been together for years.

There is nothing that guarantees it, sometimes it's somewhat for an act, it's their job. I've seen interviews with Mikitty where she said she isn't friends with anyone from MM, and never was(Of course, that doesn't mean that she hates them by any means). We've also heard similar things from Fukuda Asuka after her graduation. Just because you work with someone for a few years doesn't mean you are always going to become good friends with them, I don't see H!P being much different honestly, they just try to sell it as being that way. These girls are professionals, I think people forget that sometimes haha.
