The HP Casino will be part of Himalia's Christmas Hello Project Give-away 2008.
In the Casino you can gamble points you already have to potentially win more points or to win instant prizes. Remember win or lose you will still have lost the points you spend in the Casino so don't spend what you cannot afford to lose.
The Casino itself will revolve around luck with some guessing ability that some may be able to use educated guesses to increase their chance of beating the odds of luck alone.
Anyway to get things going i am going to start a guessing game and the winner gets to play one game in the Casino.
The game you will be playing is based on the game "deal or no deal" some of you may know the game already.
For those who do not it works like this (pure luck i will point out) the game will have 26 boxes in each box is a prize. Be warned there is at least one booby prize as well as a star prize.
At the start of the game all the boxes are numbered 1 - 26. You are asked to pick one of these boxes and this box becomes yours. You have no way of knowing what prize is in the box.
Each round i will ask you to eliminate a set number of boxes. These boxes are then opened (virtual boxes that is
) and some of the prizes will have been eliminated. Once this has been done i will then make you an offer for your box. The offer will be made in HP merchandise. Depending on what boxes got eliminated my offer will go or down accordingly. You then decide if you wish to take my offer and win that prize or continue and hope to get a better offer by elimnating more of the "not so good prizes".There are also three versions of the game. Low risk, standard and high risk.
In the low risk version the prizes are smaller but there are fewer poor prizes. In the high risk version there are more big prizes but alot more poor prizes and multiple booby prizes.
