just googled it again, hollywood screwed it up and gave it a happy ending as usual. the original ending should make you feel like fate stabbed you in the guts and twisted the knife.

I tried watching the drama version of Koizora but ARE YOU KIDDING ME LOL.
The movie already made me cry. My tissues needed to be saved.
Anyway, I watched 1 Litre of Tears through and through. Beginning to the end, from Saturday evening straight to Sunday morning LOL.
The problem was that I had church in the morning, so I just put on some clothes, went to church and ran back home to watch.
Sigh. It was so bad that even when I heard the ending music I cried LOL. Every time I went, "######".
Also another movie that made me cry (not a drama but) was Tenshi no Koi.
It didn't exactly appeal to a lot of people I knew, but JFC the ending I just had to sob.
SCREW YOU ASIAN DRAMAS AND YOUR EMOTIONAL DRAMAS DEALING WITH SICKNESS AND HEAD TRAUMA AND MEMORY LOSS.

But, there was a drama that made me cry........again......
A girl and a boy(same class, same high school, the leaders of the class) somehow lovers. The girl could not speak, so she wrote letters.
After some time, she sent him another letter.
There it was wrotten something like "The time with you is painful. I see you being happy, being able to do things I can't do. It's painful"
EDT: Remember the title...... lol, is 1 Litre of Tears.....
One of last episodes, Aya wrote a letter to Haruto saying these things

Sunao ni Narinakute, OMG I can't even watch this whole series, it just annoys and upsets me. It's about the different lives of four people and the many different troubles they go through because of who they are. I seriously can't go passed the 4th episode but it's still something I would recommend! It's like those slice of life, mature dramas.

Watch the Blackboard drama specials. There are 3 of them, each one a little under 2 hours long. I just finished them and I cried watching each one, and I don't cry easily.
They each are about a teacher in a different era (1947, 1980, 2012) and is basically about how society changes and education changes. I've always been intrigued by the teacher-student relationship in Japan as well as history (esp. Japan around WWII) so it was fascinating to watch.
Synopses (not spoiler-y but I know some people like myself don't like to know a lot about a drama when going into it)
All three of them are emotional roller coasters. Bring tissues.

Mother and 1 Rittoru no Namida made me cry like there's no tomorrow. Amazing doramas. I love that kind of doramas, the ones that make me feel a lot of things.

Yes it's been said before but: Mother. One might think it's overrated, but it's definitely not. Sure there are some flaws here and there but (thanks to Mana's acting skills) it's almost impossible to watch an episode without crying.

@Chimai: My mother loved the Sakurai movie. I haven't watched it and can't recall if she cried.
Okay Ninomiya-san biased, but:
Yasashii Jikan: Family relationships, but the whole atmosphere of the place and Ashita by ayaka give me the feels.
Door to Door (sp): I cried 1 litre of tears, basically.
I got sick of reading 1 litre of tears so I'LL WATCH IT OKAY. I've always known about the movie but because I was meh of the actors I didn't, so I will now. X3
