I don't care much for TakeKarin friendship but it's nice to have someone fangirl for Take once in a while. Every new KSS is 50% fan of Haruka, 40% some other MM girl, 5% an OG, 5% the other groups lol. 

Also no important  but Fukuchan bought her a necklace I think, a while ago while shopping in Houston. neverending~ 

 

I've reached that level of love for Take I'm going to start making gifs. Didn't think it would happen with a female idol, idk. She's too strong.

^ More H!P gifs are always welcome! BTW what programs do you use to make them? I use photoshop and it takes forever to make one, like 1 hour+ for one. I feel like maybe I'm doing it wrong and there's a faster way to do it.

I think I tried making a gif once and remembered I find them kinda annoying so never tried it again . Take has her admirers it just seems like people forget other groups besides Morning Musume and C-ute exist lol. From what I can pick out when people talk about her she seems to be well liked and nice to everyone though often seems to get picked on for being poor or at least acting like it. I never get tired of when they were discussing this horrible cheap velcro wallet she has lol.

^^ Can you describe your work process a bit  ? I use Photoshop too and it usually doesn't take me more than 5-10 minutes (depending on how much I want to tinker with it) .....

Here's my workflow:

I'm using the video I posted in the previous page. I open the video up in photoshop, it's short and I don't care about the quality so I just turn the whole thing into a gif first.

I don't want the borders so I crop it out.

The process so far took me 8 minutes but the reason why I take hours for a gif is the next part. If it's just a border I could just make one in a layer and it appears in all the frames, the problem is that I want to "animate" it so to speak so I  add an additional layer to each frame to get the "animation". 

 

Another example is this 3D one I made quite some time ago. Adding the two bars and erasing it takes too much time. I don't think there's any shortcut for these types of gifs where you add stuff to them and if there is, I don't know it

Ah I see! Yeah, if you draw in each frame it takes time. The Karin-Take gif has 124 frames. That's really a lot of clicks you have to do . I thought you meant you generally need about an hour for an unmodified gif .... I don't know how long it takes to open a video in Photoshop but I only work with screencaps I took with KMPlayer. That works pretty fast but you have to have an additional program installed.

I take some time because my PC is really slow, I'm not sure how much time though. I tend to use the same effects all the time so I just copy and paste them to the new cropped gif, to make them look sharper and brighter. Using Photoshop, as well.

It seems the poor thing has chilled down? I haven't been witness of it ever since Angerme started? 
I do remember her being well liked by Kanon and Ayumi, I think during Lilium, and after it, they wanted to hang out with her and I think also Rina and Kana?

Just graduations? Are you saying Take is graduating? Somebody else in Angerme? Somebody in H!P? Are people at your school graduating? What a random thing to say on this thread. Granted when that does happen I will mourn the loss heavily since she's my favourite ever idol and honestly the main reason I carried on with he whole idol thing. At the time 2nd gen showed up I was kinda like "Yeah H!P is kinda fun but most of the idols I really like aren't even in Morning Musume anymore" and was going off it then S/mileage 2nd gen happened and I found something new I could really get into. Of course Babymetal and getting into alt idols came later and really got me hooked on everything but I'll always credit Take and S/mileage 2nd gen for really getting me into idols to a fanatical level. She's had her back and fourths occasional bad haircuts etc but has always been consistent in her commitment to the cause and her performance level. Even at their lowest points where they were getting no promotion and playing in dinky venues she never looked unhappy in what she was doing always giving 100% with an infectious smile. Right now she feels more popular and appreciated than she's ever been. Granted as she's grown up it's become apparent that she's the only one in the group that has anything resembling a chest but still I like to think people have found new appreciation for how versatile and how hard working she is . All that chubbiness turned into nice curves in the end.

We'll cross the graduation bridge when it comes to it and I'll probably prepare to write an essay and take a long expensive trip to Japan to see her as much as possible before she graduates.
