^ See THIS is sthg I'm more inclined to believe. I have all reasons to believe that, if someone that is currently within H!P was to be added to MM, it would be her: would allow to open more to the korean market and make MM more inter-asian; would bring a fresh young face to the group; and she's must have been in training all this time so sthg should be made of her soon.
The only negative points are that we never really saw what she can give vocally and in dancing, especially for a concert. But then again, when new gens join, they're all new and inexperienced and it's never been a problem.

I can guarantee you one thing:
Bringing Da Hyun-yang into Momusu will not open up any more ways to the Korean market.
Well, they might have a Korean member who can speak Korean fluently but...
K-market and J-market are too different.
Stepping into K-market will not benefit UFA either.

^ I know about the music, but not the market itself. All I see is that it could maybe bring them to appear on korean tv and such things, like how they did on chinese tv. Then, would it work or not, this I don't know. But UFA knows, and if they'd choose to do it, then I'm sure they'd have analyzed the situation before making such a decision.
Still not saying it will happen. Just saying that this seems a better guess than those Eggs that have been bumped, imho.

K-market's dying right now.
There's no point of trying to get in.
If UFA's smart, they would know that.

In my opinion, the best guess would be the older eggs.
I guess that includes Da Hyun-yang but even if she does get into Momusu, it's safe to assume that it has nothing to do with Korea because of the "situation".

As for the "situation"...
SNSD, WonderGirls, KARA, 2NE1, f(x), Tiara, Jewelry, Rainbow, Brown Eyed Girls...
Nope, not the right time, at least for now.
They might use her for K-market reasons later on, but that won't be the main reason why they would let her into Momusu.

^ Oh yeah, I was not saying that UFA doesn't know about the situation you describe. I was in fact saying that they must know whatever the situation is, so they would choose according to that. And if this is the situation, then I guess expanding into Korea would not be their aim. So if ever they'd put her in MM, I suppose this reason of breaking into K-market could not be invoked.

morning musume would not go over well in korea. korea is so westernized in their entertainment, and mm is so... quirky japanese. having a korean member might make it better, but they'd still get torn apart. besides, there's the whole plastic surgery thing in korea where they expect everyone in entertainment these days to look exactly ###### alike and plasticy.

as for the reason why they added a korean girl to h!p.... who knows, but i like that she's there. it brings some much needed variety to h!p. i can't wait to see what they'll do with her, if anything.

@sockbeam: your icon is made of win. I can't stop staring at it. Girl needs some model training :(

I don't think Momusu would do great in Korea either.. Most of the music in the charts over there sound like...the charts over here. And all the other reasons Sockbeam listed.

I think it would benefit their position in Asia overall, but not necessarily in Korea.

I don't remember him saying that directly, but it was said before the audition started that the winner wouldn't join Morning Musume, but would be a member of Hello! Project.~ :)
