My grandfather was in the Navy for WWII. Thats about it.
But my room mate, who I consider my family, has a lot of family in the military. Her dad, step-dad, and her sister are in the Army. Her boyfriend is in the National Guard and his dad is in the Army. They're all high ranked (except for her boyfriend), so they won't be in the middle of the fighting, but he's also in College and training to be an officer.

Uh-oh, looks like I'm going to be the first "negative" review. I didn't read the books before I went to go see it. My room mate is obsessed and we went to the midnight showing and she explained a little bit. I didn't think it was awful, but she'd tell you differently.
I didn't expect much walking in, but I did expect to fall in love with each of the characters. I really didn't. I expect Edward to be smooth and not as jittery. He was too stiff through out the whole movie, his motions weren't fluid enough. Bella wasn't clumsy enough. My room mate complains about how they don't look like what she imagined, but whatever. The directing I thought was horrible. It shot like an abercombie commercial.
It wasn't OMFG!Awesome! But it wasn't the worst either. It was just okay. Like the first Harry Potter, it'll take a few before it gets interesting. I would like to see it again after reading it.

Aw, I would go (my mom lives in Toronto), but I have finals until the 15th, so I doubt I could make it.

My room mate keeps the TV on, so now I'm use to falling asleep to that...
but its creepy when she leaves it on Nick at Night and we wake up to blobs singing to us
