In Topic: hello! online friends?

I posted a thread dealing with this subject. This friends thing is unethical...because that website is based on deception, they profit from people's loneliness.

Edit:
^@Ruler of Takamagahara: I got the impression that the connection with unrequited love that the PV is exploring could possibly have something to do with the Selene/Endymion myth. I could be completely making that up, though.

That does seem to make sense and I thought about it myself, except that it should have been released last July, around Tanabata. Not necessarily a Selene/Endymion thing, but rather a celebration of Tanabata.

I can't really remember right now, but that piece of cloth Risako and the other girls get at the end, the one which allows them to fly, is featured in Japanese mythology. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with Tanabata, but I know there's some sort of legend behind it.

I watched the PV today and I must say that, musically speaking, Tsukitatteiru no ni Kataomoi is inferior to Tokkaiko and Honto no Jibun. The song itself isn't catchy like previous Berryz Koubou singles and the dancing/setting doesn't really have anything to do with unrequitted love. It would have been far better to use a city landscape for this one, as that's the standard place where people hold dates. Maybe a theater, ice-cream shop, mordern day apartments, etc.

Despite the above, this PV serves a purpose, which is to explore Miyabi and Risako's beauty. It is a Risako-centric music video and it shows. Some shots are very good. She looks very pretty and cute. Still, I like Miyabi better. It seems that for the first half of 2007 Risako looked better than Miyabi; now that Miyabi's part of Buono! she looks better. She managed to achieve a combination of her former cute, young self (the way she looked up to Special Generation, perhaps) and this new, more mature and alluring look. She's grown to be a very pretty girl and I'm happy I get the chance to witness her growth.

First of all, good point, nessy.

But laws about age of consent and statutory rape are not made just because they can. Sex is an important and very dominating part of life from day 1, and starting sexual life too early can lead to seriously messed up kids.

These days, it sickens me that 12yo kids are on birth control. It's good to make sure not to have kids at that age but OTOH kids are not supposed to be having sex at that age anyway. Or maybe I'm just an old geezer.

Not all laws make sense. Even if we count off having sex with a 16 year old adolescent, making it a felony to have intercourse with someone your age when you're below AoC (sometmes it's 12, 13, 14 and so on) is simply preposterous.
Furthermore, a thirteen year old pretty much knows all there is to know about sex...I know this because I was thirteen once. I never had a girlfriend, that's true, but I blame it exclusively on my lack of social skills. Back then we all thought about sex, some people had sex, and those of us who didn't wanted to. The guys wanted to be looked up to as being masculine, sexy, while the girls hoped to attract (and succeeded) by wearing sexy clothes and provoking us.
It's only natural Risako likes this sort of stuff: she's being paid (due) attention...foreign insomniacs such as myself are discussing her photobooks, watching the making-of, purchasing the book.
Isn't that a good thing?

Don't mean to bother you, but this has been bugging me for a while:
is this sentence correct? 効率的には電車が車より安いっと思う

I am pretty good when it comes to kanji and reading, but I know hardly nothing of grammar, so I was wondering if that sentence is good.
