I find it amusing. Where Cio is seeing it from a pea-brain point of view Angels&Demons is over thinking it. Hopefully the Japanese public sees it from the same point of view as Cio. And Jessie Asher I think you need to keep in mind that the phrase only means nothing if people don't think about it. Once you get thinking about what they mean by using that statement as a slogan you can't really turn back and all sorts of possibilities are bound to arise, not all of which will be good ones. But again hopefully the Japanese public sees it the way Cio does.

^x2 LOL. It's precisely b/c people can't forget those years that Momusu can't take off like a rocket again.

Yep.... =/

That's why they are so heavily promoting the "current Momusu" tagline. It's like saying, "Don't think of Morning Musume as only the members who are now long gone. We are Morning Musume now." Morning Musume is a group of eras, and with each passing era, a new Morning Musume is born. In their time, old Morning Musume was Morning Musume. Now, this Morning Musume is Morning Musume, and the others are past.

It's important to remember your history. Them going "We're Morning Musume now" just makes them seem really arrogant. It's not a turn on it's a turn off.
