2007:
Was a self proclaimed anime junkie. Watched Lucky Star, which lead me to watch the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. That's when I first began to get obsessed with dancing as I learned Hare Hare Yukai within a week.

Started googling stuff about Haruhi Suzumiya ending dance and found out that the creators were wota fans of Berryz koubou so I looked them up. Had no interest, but I did go to youtube and watch a video of Berryz dancing along to Hare Hare Yukai. I was so amazed by the accuaracy. The main thing that caught my attention was the girls outfits (for Gag no 100kaibun ashite kudasai) so I tried to find the official video for it.

Looked at the related videos and found the Gag no 100kaibun ashite kudasai dance shot, but the videos title was something like 'Berryz koubou 9th single.' I began watching the video everyday and refered to it as 'Berryz koubou 9th single' I probably would have gotten obsessed with H!P earlier if I wasn't a diehard BoA and Utada Hikaru fan....that and my family thought Berryz was annoying.


2010:
Back towards the end of May, I began getting bored one day and wanted to reminence. So I started watching Hare Hare Yukai, but then I remembered 'Berryz koubou 9th single', so I looked it up again. I still found the girls adorable, as well as their outfits, so I looked up the only other video I remembered that had lots of blue and white (Special Generation). The song annoyed me, so I clicked on the next interesting video, which had the word Cinderella. 21 made no Cinderella got me interested since I loved their casual outfits. My favorite was Miyabi since she was wearing Orange and Yellow o.O Anyways, then Yurina became my favorite since she was prettiest and wore green (my favorite color I think) For about a month, I thought that 21ji made no CInderella was most recent video, but then I found out a few days later that Tomodachi wa Tomodachi Nanda was the actual most recent one, so I looked it up and it became my absolute favorite Berryz song then. It was after watching Tomodachi wa Tomodachi Nanda that I began favoring Captain more since she was dancing in an awesome outfit with uber high heels (v ^ - ^)d

So, by the time July had passed, I was pretty much hooked on Berryz koubou. I remembered all of their names, remembered most of the singles, and listened to thier songs everyday. Then, I found out about Hello!Project Kids and soon afterwards, I found C-ute, who I thought were inferior to Berryz. The only song of theirs I liked was Massara Blue Jeans (because all the comments I saw online were claiming it as the best single by C-ute), Forever Love, because I saw their cool suits, and Campus Life, since it was their most recent song.

I began to listen to a lot of other Berryz and C-ute songs, despite knowing of Morning Musume and S/mileage's existence. I just thought that Morning Musume, who everyone said was the best, was a cheap knockoff loser version of Berryz, so I did all I could to ignore them. S/mileage was just not interesting at all since I saw a picture of one of the members and their Charlie Chaplin mustache and hated it! I made an account of the last.fm and had a Berryz koubou playlist, but I decided to stop using it since barely any Berryz songs came on, although there was a huge variety of H!P songs!

Another favorite song that I began to like was Berryz's version of Halation Summer. I soon found out that it was a cover of a song from Coconut Musume, so I looked up their version, which I thought (and still think) is terrible. However, I saw Ayaka's English lessons on the related videos and thought it would be amusing. I can't remember the first one I watched, but it was so interesting that I watched the rest, although in the wrong order. I remember seeing a single comment about 'how cool Yossie was, especially in Mr. Moonlight' so I youtubed Mr. Moonlight. I FELL IN LOVE WITH THAT SINGLE! It was the best video I had seen in a long time, so I was so happy. Soon afterwards, I discovered Souda We're Alive (but I didn't like it), Koko ni Iruzee (which I loved as well), Do it NOW (which I was amused with since it had bright red outfits and dark dark black outfits), and Roman my Dear Boy (loved the purple robes).

It didn't take long until I fell obsessed with Morning Musume, although I still loved Berryz koubou more since my favorite had changed to Shimizu Saki, who I kept looking up. Captain and Yossi were my favorite for the longest time. I don't think I was until around late August that my absolute favorite H!P member became Niigaki Risa. It took a lot of self motivation until I began to even like Gaki-san. I saw a picture of her from around 2001 and thought she was creepy (because of the strange pigtails and awkward smile)

She caught my attention again when I was watching funny youtube videos because I saw her humorous comments during the Mechaike Bakajo, where Risa kept going "Hey, that's not me!" and wrote down "Chan Pon Chan" as the capital of China. She was amusing to me. I saw her version of Koi no Hana after watching Nacchi's video and reading a comment of how Gaki's was better, which I did agree with. I still didn't feel that interested in her though! I saw her in the Kimagure Princess where I noted her as the only member that had to have sleeves. I saw her in Nanchatte Renai, where I dubbed her as a crazy goth girl with the big lips (lol). I saw a comment about the CInderella Musical and how Gaki was so great, but I didn't care. I was still obsessed with Yossie, so I kept looking up Morning Musume and Mr. Moonlight performances. I finally so the video of Mr. Moonlight where a yellows suited Ai was the lead (which ticked me off since she wasn't Yossie) and I desperately hoped to see negative comments. However, one comment caught my eye and it said that Risa would be more suited since she had a more boyish aura. So I looked her up AGAIN and I saw her Seishun Collection profile picture, which made me agree that she was more boyish (which she does look if you see her individual profile picture and the group promo picture. The stylist gave her no justice ). It was that picture, and along with a picture of her with the plaid purple hat from the 2010 winter shuffle group concert, that made me not drawn to her so much.

I think what really made me like her was one day stumbling upon her Koe performance on Hello Pro Hour. She was stunning and her voice was amazing! So I began to look her up again on youtube and then online, where I discovered Hello!Online. I think all of this happened in between September and October. Anyways, going back and looking at all the things I didn't like about Gaki, I finally accepted the fact of how totally amazing Risa is and how awesome Morning Musme is that I totally changed my favorites. And then I began to look up ANYTHING that had Niigaki in it, which brought me to full performances, concerts, shuffle groups, AND FANFICTIONS! My H!P love began to spread and I started listening to many other groups, although my favorite still stayed as Niigaki and has ever since
