I think this is a bit to harsh, there are people who are into that kind of music, since you'r not one of them I dont think all of them are crappy. Some songs can be crappy but not a whole music style.

Btw that JE VEUX TE VOIR song was kind of OK.

Chachimaru's crazy frog was even in the German dance floor charts, and was played allover MTV, I think what made people hate it was Jamba's(and other ringtone selles's) agressive commertials where they where spamming that ringtone 24 hours a day on almost all TV stations in Germany.

There is a chinese band that make crappy but funny songs:

The...oh jeez, I can't remember what it's called anymore. That techno song that was so hip a few years back...by some lady whose name started with an E, maybe? Like a frou-frou fantasy word that started with an E, like Estastica or Enchantment or something, and the song's main lyric was some kind of expression of love or longing or something? It was being played everywhere all the time, about two years ago, and it irritated the hell out of me. I honestly can't remember the name or the tune or anything, anymore, but it used to be stuck in my head constantly and I wanted to kill something.
EDIT: Everytime We Touch! By...Cascada? I guess the "E" was in the song title, haha. I can't believe I could've forgotten that, I must've heard that song fifty million times.

Also, that song that goes like "release your inhibitions/feel the rain on your skin." I was standing at the bus stop the other day and there was a bar behind me with open windows playing it full blast; I couldn't even move or anything because I really needed to make that bus. It was excrutiating.
