I still must ask, does anyone have a link as to where her new digital single can be purchased??
I tried via Amazon.co.jp but there's region restriction.... Ironic considering her own website states You Kikkawa will release her new track “NEO SUGAR SUGAR YOU” and past catalogue tracks on streaming/download service over 200 countries from May 23.
So I bought the Maison Book Girl album image, and sure enough it's basically what I was hoping Kikka's next album would sound like (after her "Goodbye, Standard" and "with Clenched Teeth" singles came out).
I really like the touch that producer has but oh well, looks like Kikka's team has a different direction for her.
I highly recommend that Maison Book Girl album for those who liked the two singles I mentioned.
Romantic Ukare Mode scene ( Not my camera ) We all know which part of the song this was right
I am not good at remembering Kikka's song titles so I could not give you a proper set list. Sorry! The 2 songs that Kikka performed that I know of are Romantic Ukare Mode and Angel's Thesis ( Evangelion ). When Kikka sang Angel's Thesis I think I nearly cried
At the end of Kikka's performance she had a group photo with the audience. Hope we get to see it from the officials.
^ 1st "Watashi Ga Obasan Ni Nattemo" (Moritaka Chisato cover, C/W on Darling to Madonna) I'd take Kikka's any day of the week. https://youtu.be/7i-EjG1AlKA 2nd "Konna Watashi de Yokattara" (One of her calling-card songs) https://youtu.be/wCtrY1J3dH4
What I've learned about Japanese so far, is that you must first pay attention to these 2 things: Rule #1 and Context. After that, just pray they remember their high-school English class.
Thank you! I figured out the 2nd one but I was totally clueless for the 1st one Yokattara is my favourite but I never remembered the title
Today Kikka sang Renai Revolution 21 and the whole place just erupted like crazy And the other half of the hall have no clue what was going on
Today we had a bigger crowd than the previous day since it is the weekend. Kikka's booth had a longer queue and she sold out her photos and keychains. Only her calender and cekki album left. A bit sad to find out that Kikka's t-shirts were sold out at Makenki live the week before. Thats why she didn't bring any to Japan Expo
Expecting a bigger crowd on Sunday, with Piko Taro appearing earlier to draw in more people. Kikka's livestage will be on 5pm, 2 hours after Piko Taro.
Here are the hilights of Day 1. Our Kikka group shot at 1:35.
Sounds like she's making a really good impression, even among people who don't know her specifically.
She's such a good performer, and one of the entertainment industry figures I think, "If only..." or "so close..."

^That holds some truth. The CEO of the company that organize this Japan Expo (its the same people who organized Japan Expo in Bangkok, they are a Thailand company) seems to like Kikka's performance. We saw her (the CEO) standing in front of the stage this evening. Maybe because she was there in preparation for the closing and heard this beautiful voice on stage so she took a look. But it did looked like she was really enjoying herself. She was not just standing there but moving with all of us. You know how Kikka knows how to get the crowd going.
Atleast, I know the female MC really like Kikka. She already praised Kikka's voice on the first day and reminded everyone the following days She also wants Kikka's silver cape
And at Kikka's booth this evening, I saw people who I would not have expected to see (i.e. not the usual suspects). Yes she did some good impression on people for that 15 minutes stage time. Today there were people who have not seen any performance from the last 2 days, since they came to see Pikotaro (only appearing today) and stuck around to see the rest of the live shows.
Btw, today Kikka did Love Machine. I missed the closing ceremony where Kikka did another set of performance.
Kikka posted this pics this morning. After the closing ceremony last night, it seems Kikka was treated to dinner at a very expensive restaurant, with a view of the tallest twin towers in the world. I looked it up based on that photo that the restaurant is called Vertigo, located within the hotel, Banyan Tree. It is on level 59. That morning, Kikka was treated to a game of golf. Well as far as we know she went to a golf club. She shared it on twitter: https://twitter.com/...411567512059904
I totally forgot about it until now, in the afternoon, about 3 hours before her livestage, we saw Kikka walk in to the Japan Expo venue with Yamada-san and 2 Japanese. 1 was an old guy who looked rich, the other lady must have been his wife.
Could be possible that he is a fan of Kikka. Last year, Pink Cres didn't get entertained this way so I ruled out that Yamada-san has any official connection with this man. I am guessing he is a wealthy expat based here in KL.
