i think this is something that should be fixed:
http://www.hello-onl......12 (2008.02)
FIXED!
Hey, not bad although the front page being text only is a bit boring. I kinda liked the pictures of the picboard in the
front page as it saves me having to click on the picboard tab to check the new pics everytime I come here. Also, I find
that sometimes, some of the fonts on the tabs are a bit squished. Think I used the attachment system to attach a pic of
that.
CTRL+F5 should help.
Picboard descriptions are squished in the latest Firefox 3 build.

FIXED!
When reading some of the blogs, using FireFox.
And when using IE7.
I have reported it to the IPB Service.
Hello!Online is hulking up and the new design looks stellar. The new pic board is particularly more dynamic. Hopefully it will be easier to categorize the photos for quick searches, now.
Truly H!O now leg drops any other webite that would dare step into the squared circle with it. However, I'm not down with the “friends” thing, especially all these random photos of people I don’t want to see on the right side of the photo board. It's distracting, but I assume I'll get used to ignoring the photos eventually.
I understand that a site needs money to keep it up and running, and if this is what it takes, then rock. So, even though I don't care for some of it, I'm all good, if it keeps H!O sprinting.
Soon all H!O members already know what the Friends thingy is so I will make so only guests see the Friends banners in future. But I will let it run for a few more days.
What is the ad service that's being used? What control do you have over the ads shown? You really have to be clear about that before people are going to go out of their way to open their computers to them. You have to be really careful. My computers over the years have gotten a ton of viruses from malicious ads. The ads all look a bit shady, no one is going to click on them except by accident.

Suggestive, adult and Zango ads are banned.
The banners is different for each country and there is so many different adverticers so I don't have full control. But they can be trusted.

Update: We thought the CPX adds are way to annoying, so till futher notice, we only show "New H!P products" in the right bars.
Heh I was just about to ask where they went
I'd recommend Google or Clicksor ads. Google will at least give ads that are based on content from the site (so like, buy H!P DVD ads obviously) but I'm not sure what they would think about a Bittorrent tracker
Thanks to BluCherri for the sig

But I don't believe no one's suggested this one yet. Obviously we can see bumped pictures and there many many times where huge discussions over pictures has gone through. But no matter how sofisticated or how nice a site may seem, there's always those few that just don't read rules or just simply ignore all other posts and acts like their post is important.
I'm not saying fix those people, no, what I'm trying to say is that when someone bumps a picture, it should show who bumped the pic! because usually, when people see a bumped picture, they pretty much think that the last poster had bumped it.
Also there are some picboard discussions that flare up over someone bumping a unnecessary picture and alot of the time, the person that gets blamed for it, usually isn't the culprit.
I've thought of this one for a while, and I dunno if it's possible to do but everything in the picboard would be abit to alot better if this is done.
Also I searched for this all through the thread I could not find a simular request. So haku it doesn't really have to be done, the site's amazing as it is, but it would be that much more amazing if this was done.
Forever supporting our little angel.
