She nailed it even though there was a major (or minor?) problem. Gosh it was as if the problem didn't existed.

^ Like Kyuuto said what you are hearing in that clip is what they fixed it in DVD post production. It probably sounded worse live and that's not because Chisa wasn't up to the task, but because of she didn't hear playback/feedback properly.

Concert took place in huge warehouse that's why they used in ear-pieces instead of usual monitor speakers on the stage floor. It's impossible to sing in sync/properly with main concert speakers for audience in large halls.

Ahh I see.. Hmm but if I had to take that the sound is indeed fixed, then her charisma on stage is still pretty darn good considering a problem arose.

Indeed, she LOOKED like she handled it with such grace and composure.  She really is a professional!  A number of other H!P members may not have exhibited the same poise as she did.  All respect for our rockin' Chissa!

When you listen to the original audio AND watch the performance, it really shows you what she was up against. Singing in a "warehouse" with your voice and the music bouncing off the walls back at you is near impossible without proper stage monitors or personal monitors.  Again... RESPECT!

 

Oh, and remember she was dealing with the difficulty of losing her dog, Pain, at that time.

 

EDIT:  Actually, I wish they hadn't "fixed" the audio on the DVD.

I just love how she's still really professional in that video of Only You. Even if, by the end, she's like "that's enough I'll do it without you"

 

ChisaAiri duets always impress me. They are both strong performers and their voice are beautiful together. I love their performance of Melodies too.

Unless they used a lot of pitch correction I'd say she's entered the very top tier of H!P with that Only You performance. Yes, she was a real pro about the earbuds issue, I'm impressed. I'd like to hear the original for comparison.
