Didnt see a thread for this yet, so I hope its ok I start this.. (I'm 0-2 in starting threads that don't get locked )...I know theres some discussion in the Mari thread, but I figure here we can talk more about the show itself rather than just the Yaguchi related parts..

So far I am really enjoying this series...Mari is pretty funny in it, and the girl who plays Saki is really good.

Anyone else watch any of the episodes yet? I am in the middle of episode 3 and one little fun thing I noticed...during the "Angel Hearts" photoshoot, they were playing Aya Matsuura's"Yeah! Meccha Holiday" in the backround

Yeah, I was thinking about starting this too.

Anyways, I have watched 3 eps now and waiting for the subs for fourth. Really funny stuff, never would have thought I'd like a dorama about Gals (we can forget the cowboy) :: I really like Saki too, the most atm (tho sees the one that's been shown the most too).


And nice find that Ayaya song, I didn't notice

From what I've read, it's a drama staring Fujiki Naohito where he plays a Texan cowboy saving people in Japan. Includes American Indians (speaking in Japanese) and para para dancing girls. Sounds pretty funny!

Mari's part seems to be getting a little bigger, its only a matter of time until a whole ep is devoted to her.(i hope)

Gal Circle is really entertaining to watch. Though theres just too much good values being stuffed in there, like a turkey at thanksgiving day. Anyways, I find the cowboy-indian relationship weird. Didnt the japanese have some research on western history. The show is great though, I just wish Yaguchi had a bigger role in the series. Well happy viewing.

Out of Topic: who is watching waterboys 2? if you havent yet and you liked the movie then definitely check this series.

Just finished ep 4. Those of you who were wanting more Mari...this is the episode for you! the main story centers around her and there are a couple of very interesting plot developments.

Looked up Suzuki Emi (thanks for the link yggg) ....is she full Japanese? Very exotic looking!

what I heard is that she is actually Chinese, but later on when to Japan and took on a Japanese name

Yeah, Emi does look very exotic. But according to DramaWiki, she was born in Fukushima...but who knows these things...

Just watched ep 5... Hmm, the store display didn't go down this time? Woo Anyway, sad episode but still damn good I almost thought the whole show would end this time for sure, with the cowboy being arrested (again) and all. If they had added a sad Momo looking at Shinnosuke being taken away, I sware I would've criend :crying
And I also downloaded the ending song's PV, funny one (it's the cowboy's song actually ^^)
