Kamikokuryo Moe had a rapid test for COVID come out positive and she's now waiting for PCR results. She missed the single release event today, her participation going forward will be dependent on results.

... What do they think they're doing? A positive is a positive. False positives are pretty much unheard of.

Hm, not that rare to be honest. But I guess it's got more to do with being 100% sure - it's also money we're talking about, rescheduling events, etc.

Actually, you can still test positive even if you aren't infectious anymore. Of course, that would assume she was sick before, which I doubt is the case here.

Even though it's rare to have false positive rapid Covid test, a PCR is a more reliable method. Now that her PCR result is positive, she must be absent from events on following days according to the company's rules.
