^ I'm not sure, and I will admit that they might simply be processed in a way that makes them seem fake to me. There are definitely some string-synths that appear in the verses that might be doubled with actual strings, too.

Apparently Oricon considered the Sixtones vs Snow Man single as one entry, regardless of publisher.

It's been awhile since we've had 100k+ for first day sales. Last was Are You Happy / A Gonna in '18 with 100k.

#2 is pretty much in the bag now since we all thought the debuting groups will enter separately since they have different labels despite having a unified single.

 

Also it's amusing to see that this new Johnny's concept actually works. Perhaps a way to make a dent into 48G/Sakamichi's multi-million string of singles on the yearly chart?

Wow 772k I knew they would sell well, but i didn't saw that coming. I haven't check their single and i haven't found a good fansite to follow their news, but i really want to know more about those two new groups to see if they're really that good.

Well, #1 is another Johnny's group under Sony and Avex records, so no surprise here.

Anyway, it's been a long time since MM got over 100k sales on first day. More reason to have faith in Kodama Ameko's era.
