This song just reminds me of an anime song, it's amazing.

Even though the MV is all busy, I feel like it fits the song well. Also, the dance just feels so un-idol like it's great.

My favourite cover is the Yuichanzu one, hands down. This duo has such a strong aura! Type-D is also cool!

Also, tbh in this single Uemuu looks the best. She has this fairy vibe with her wavy hair, but still looks badass.

Garasu bored me at first. The second time that I hear Garasu I liked it more, but with the MV the song GOT ME. The screen time for the girls is not the best but at least is much better than in Saimajo or Sekai ni lol

Notes: 

- All Kanji and 1st Hiragana members have 24 total slots, 2nd gen Gana's have 12 slots.

- Harada Aoi only has 9 slots and Kageyama Yuka only has 19 slots. Reason unspecified. 

- Hirate Yurina is not taking part in the HS events, so that's 24 slots down for Kanji Keyaki. Imaizumi Yui however is back to a full 24 slots. Despite these changes, Kanji's sold out slots have increased 266 from the previous single.

- All Kanji members except Nijika, Nana, Fuyuka, Shiori, and Nanami sold out at least two slots this round. 

- All Hiragana members expect Mao, Memi, Kumi, Mirei, Mana, and Hiyori sold out at least two slots this round. 

- Hiragana 1st gen's sold out slots this round looks bleak in comparison to 2nd gen and kanji, but they actually increased their sold slots by over 10% from the last single! 

- 2nd gen gana's have definitely shook the table in Keyakizaka haha!

 

thoughts:

I can already see at least 4 future HS monsters. If in the future singles Hirate continues to do HS's and Koike and Shiho sells out first round, Keyaki could easily have 16 members selling out in the first round. Monsters lol. I'm sad that Techi is still MIA BUT as long as she's getting the rest she needs i'll take whatever we get right now lol. KOIIKEEE so close to legend status, it will definitely  happen next round. MORE THAN EVER NOW, I think Nanako has repeatedly been robbed. Since Futari Saison she's been top tier at HS sales, but management have kept her in the last row with little promotion since the 3rd single. JUSTICE FOR NANAKO. I'm glad they moved Uemu to 2nd row now, her status as legend tier has been solidified since she's now with the other Kami girls lol. I think at this point in Keyaki's tenure we can now see the exact rankings of the girls, or at least Kanji. I think we need a couple more singles to see how well the Gana's rank.

Mou Mori He Kaerou ka? - Kanji only. This is a continuation (or prequel) of Hiraishin's MV (which is a continuation of Eccentric's MV) so you can watch them all together for emo keya vibes lolol 

 

edit: so it seems like this is a direct prequel to Hiraishin. According to fans and the director himself, this MV is about the mass produced idol industry and how girls are manufactured and put through the industry like a product, only to later be discarded when they're not of use any longer. Techi seems to be one of the idols in question who acknowledges this fact, walking past workers with keyaki MV's on their heads, and reading anti-techi/keyaki comments from "fans" on the wall. The songs literal translations is "Shall we go into the forest?" and guess where walks into at the end of the MV? the forest she gets lost in during the Hiraishin MV lol. The girls also walk into the forest at the end to become the "Lightning Rod" for Techi and bring her back into the idol world.

 

Honestly, i'm really lucky as a keyaki fan lol. Love MV's that have a continuing storyline, and Keyaki does it so much. With Getsuyoubi > Saimajo > Fukyouwaon 

 

Bathroom Travel - Nagahama Neru, Ozeki Rika, Koike Minami. SUPER CUTE SONG!! Not as cute as Aozora ga Chigau but close lol. love the MV, got perfume vibes from it !

 

Edit: And here is Ima ni Miteiro - Hiragana only. I love it! I'm so happy to see Mirei center! The choreography was done by takahiro sensei ^^ 

 

This single really has a nice balance of music genre's. I'm glad they're finally showing the contrast of Kanji and Gana through their style of songs too. I just wish they would give Gana's an A-side..

Comments: okay, WHAT???!! 2ND GEN GANA'S????? WHAT THE HECK????? I didn't realize they were so popular omg.. I'm so proud and happy for all of them for selling out (Hiyori is 3 slots away so she definitely won't be left behind!!) I don't even know what to say. Sarinaaaaa sold out! Mei is doing amazingly too and MEMI ORIGINAL GANA ACE FINALLY RISING LOL. Hiragana's are so strong! And Kanji!! Habu sold out on 2nd round!! Ozeki and Shiori are rising higher than expected too. I'm in love with Mou mori, MV, coreo, song, all. But is quite sad because at the end Techi seems... so lonely. If this is a goodbye to the center position, what a great way of said it. From this point, I wonder what kind of Techi we will see since the chances of it ceasing to be center are high. I hope lol

Yuichanzu MV

 

I love this single very-very much!

 

Garasu wo ware! is great and upbeat, always gives me energy. The MV also grows on me, the girls still look really cool.

Mou mori e kaerou ka?: Wow, this song and MV! I love it! I also like this story-type, connecting MVs. This kind of creepy vibe that the video gives is great. I love every bit of it. I listen to it many times a day since it came out.

Yoake no kodoku: I don't really like ballads, so I probably won't listen to it many times, but it really has a calm aura and the MV is very pretty. It must have been fun shooting it. Seems like Techi likes forests.

Ima ni mite iro: Wow, Hiragana grew so much! The MV and the song has some Nogi vibes to me (though I don't listen to them), like they're the real little sister of them (no offense to Kanji-chans). I still love Kyonko's voice.

Zenmai shikake no yume: A very Yuichanzu song. I cried a little while watching the MV and listening to it for the first time. Maybe this will be my favourite song of them?

Bathroom travel: It's sooo cute and colorful! Neru and Miichan was a given to fit this type of song, but Ozechan surprised me that she pulled off this cutesy style very well. I'm happy for her!

 

The only song we (I?) haven't heard yet is Hanbun no kioku. After seeing and hearing the rest, I can't wait.

So cool! I think I'll get a copy, but I still can't decide. Type B has a cool Yuichanzu cover (my favourite from this release), and also Ima ni miteiro, which I came to love very much. BUT Type C has my oshi on the cover (but it's a little underwhelming to me) and the Yuichanzu song which also grew on me. No, can't get both. I don't know what to do. (first world problems)

I expected around 500k first day, 700k first week, almost 900k total sales, so seeing them well above my expectations already is so so great! 

And people said they were "over" after kouhaku.......lol
