I think they will pull out an album with 4ki so they can rearrange the vocals and update the songs without Maro.

Was it confirmed that Maro is writing the song? I know she said she wanted to, but was it officially stated anywhere yet? Just wondering. I'd love for her to write the song, especially if she got a solo. I'm thinking it will be a double A-side, one group song and a Maro solo. 

 

As for the album, I'd love for them to do it, but there's just no way. Unless they plan to pull some surprise release (Which is unlikely, because no chances for promotion) or release the album a little bit after Maro's grad as some sort of final tie-up to the group's days with her. 

 

Whatever, I just hope Maro writes a song.

Nothing along those lines have been announced yet. If Kanyon did wrote one of the songs (assuming it's a double/triple a-side), then it would be announced after title or the music video is out.

And tbh, they are probably still working on it.

Some competition for our girls

EXO just announced that their first single in Japan will release same day

They've never released a Japanese single before so idk how they'll sell but their popularity is no joke

I'm rooting for angerme

^ EXO's "Overdose" sold over 55,000 last year in Japan but it was a mini album.

LOL .. check on EXO .. and they look "idol" base ..
going by general idea .. for "idol" base artist ..
Their sales is in line with the price of the release ..
meaning single > mini album > album ..
So 55K for mini album means a lot more for single .. could be close to 100K ..
So there is no way ANGERME will win unless EXO just roll over and surrender ..
Chances is they will have plenty of events maybe even free live which I dunno why Korean base groups like to use when they come over to Japan ..
So there is actually no hope .. sorry ><

Since boxsets are often able for pre-order 1-2 months before release (boxsets are the way to get cheki )

I hope for a new benchmark ..
It seem that idols is mostly about benchmark .. if they can get to a new level of sales .. they have a chance of moving to the new mark and keeping that level ..
ANGERME is at 40K+ normal range .. i hope for a 60K+ normal range ...

Listing is up on CDJapan, 3 RE and 3 LE so looks like we're getting a triple A-side again. 
Also, the competition has changed from EXO to Kis-My-Ft2. Hopefully if there's no other big competition they'll still be able to get #2 or top 3 at least~

Just a flash in a pan thought,

I just realized that Kis-My-Ft2 and ANGERME will be vying for the slots in Oricon and both groups are related to Tsunku in this occasion, with Tsunku producing Kis-My-Ft2's latest single and ANGERME, well, being an H!P Group.

I'm not sure why but since this is Maro's last single, I have been thinking if Tsunku will go back to producing, at least this single for the sake of Maro. Somehow, if there's any occasion he'll produce for H!P again, this is the appropriate time.

I'm kinda surprised they're opting for another single instead of an album. I feel like it's album time.

 

Tsunku-lite H!P just isn't fast enough at cranking out songs. There was a 3-month period this year with no new releases from anyone.

Tsunku-lite H!P just isn't fast enough at cranking out songs. There was a 3-month period this year with no new releases from anyone.

 

It's really surprising. I mean I know Tsunku has some songs in a file that haven't been used yet or something but these still need refinement. In the end it takes longer to produce songs with multiple songwriters (lyrics, composing, everything) than with one.

Actually, when it comes to cheki events, you buy and pick a time/date on a website. Then you go to the place, check in, and get a random girl or random girls (a piece of paper with the girl(s) picture on it).
Handshake event, I really dunno, I buy my handshake tickets of YAJ, so I choose the girl(s) I want.
