I do really love the Kobushi album. That's great work overall.

 

And although their voice doesn't fit so good i love the choice of songs for the cover CD bonus.

Oh my god, this MV is so beautiful I'm about to cry ;-; ! The scenery gave me strong Berryz vibes, a mix of Tomodachi wa tomodachi nanda and of this pic

Can you please share what magazine/publication that Berryz photo is from?  

 

Also, I just ordered the Kobushi Sono Ichi  辛夷其ノ壱 limited edition A w/ DVD... I only had one KF single from earlier in the year (plus their Week End Survivor play) so this will be a great way to catch up!

I'll have to get the B version w/ extra CD later, but I'll be very curious to hear their Berryz covers  :good:

 

Am I the only who who gets a major kick out of when the girls (or one of them?) in this group does that hard rolling 'R' sound?   :wub:

I got the album today.  OMG.  Kobushi Factory are SO good!!  

Obviously I'm preaching to the choir, but what a great album!  They sound like a mix of all of the H!P groups I already like thrown into a blender (in a good way!).

I'm curious, do you all think that that deep throat groveling delivery they do at times is a signature of their sound?  Of course I've heard other singers do it from time to time, but KF seems to use that effect a lot.  Harsh rolling R's too... it's almost like a tough / masculine type delivery... its very appealing!!

^ it might be their signature? They do it a lot. And I hope they keep doing it more. If it was up to me, I'd have Hamachan and Ayapan make like Burt Cummings and sing the shit out of some American Woman or No Sugar

The rolling Rs are probably meant to make them sound powerful and edgy, the former being one of the group's signature styles in general. It's a matter of taste it seems but I do like it :). 

 

^ I'm really liking your signature banner, hanawopun ...Reirei ftw! :D ...but honestly, all the Kobushi girls are great <3

And thank you so much for the compliment! Rei caught my eye instantly when I first saw Week End Survivor. I guess I have a thing for the nerd look. To be honest I was a bit disappointed to find out later she doesn't normally wear glasses :lol: but she's adorable nevertheless. Minami is my second favorite but you're right, they are all quite awesome. I think it's the youth energy vibe that I also like, as their songs have a bit of an early Berryz Kobo / C-ute vibe at times, but with an added edge.

^ wow, they all look adorable, and yes of course, Minami front and center looking uber cute, but I was quite drawn to Ayano there actually... (the one w/ colored buttons on the left side, yes?)

 

Weird how these are pop stars and they resort to a selfie stick.

Natsume Taguchi looked pretty tired, it was cute seeing her hanging on Sakurako. I just really like how random they all are lol.
