It's a joke. I've been running with that since the scandal occurred. I don't mean any slight to either girl but, face it, Risa f'ed up.

And, for the record, she didn't officially leave till this year, I think. She had merely been on hiatus.

She exited the group on December 28, 2020, exactly a year ago, so not in 2021 by any means...

Wow unexpected!! It's sad to see her leave, but in the same time, it looks like she found something she really wants to do.
So I'm happy for her.

Tsubaki will not be the same without her.

I ki'da saw it coming and i think it's onoy the first of a big serie now that Tsubaki is a generation group.

Oh well, it's always that time isn't it? First proper graduation from the group.

 

But while she is pursuing her studies, she will also continue her solo activities? So makes me wonder if she will end up in M-line Music club. Or she will just be like Kobushi's Minami and just be on hiatus until her studies are over.

 

But to be honest, ever since the new gen has been added, she wasn't as prominent as a centre as compared to the initial days of TF (which is a good thing, never like the idea of having a permanent fixture of front girls/centre nonsense). Wishing her the best!

^Exactly my thoughts -- I thought her reduced exposure in recent group singles will lead to this at some point. I guess they've been discussing this for some time, only to be reinforced when one of her dogs passed away early this year and she decided to take that course.

Both her blog and Saori's blog indicate she will do solo activities while studying. She even mentioned something about her "rock" soul coming out. I can see Kiki fronting a Glay-type band.

Anyways, I failed to read previous comments. I was a little bit stunned to hear that she's going to graduate next year. Also, since the girls have accepted the fact that TF is a generation-based group, we have to accept it too.
