Found out that Ogata is a pretty big scaredy-cat from DVD Magazine 91. It's rather adorable

Wait but what.. how? Am i missing some change on oharu somewhere? Like what even is this "fat" talk? I'm so confused

People can be terrible.  I had ED issues for years (my size fluctuations being far more dramatic than Oharu's or Zukki's), so I got used to how often people would project their insecurities or preferences towards others, even doing so myself during low points.  I'll admit that I still have an unhealthy view of ideal body types, but so long as she looks happy and is having fun, that's what matters more than what anyone else thinks.  Body acceptance can be difficult enough as it is without judgmental eyes.

 It's a topic to talk about with care. I always remember Karen Carpenter. She gets lots of comments about being called "fat" that makes her falls ill of anorexia and finally her die of multiorgan failure.

 

 So, let's talk about it, of course, but always with care. In the 70's there wasn't Internet, so today the effects are exponentially bigger. Sorry I become a little weird here.

I think that is why Lalala(how many la? ) is confused why ppl are complaining about Ogata being "fat".

no one called her fat when she got in, right? like it was pretty generally accepted that this girl was exceptionally beautiful.. right? 

like she still is, and always has been except she looks healthy now.

They talked about their feelings now that new girls have joined and they became senpai. I can summarize their main points if you'd like, but don't take them as 100% accurate, I'm doing this just from memory now.

Akane said that she felt uneasy when Kaga joined because Kaga was her senpai as a Kenshuusei in the past. She also mentioned that she is afraid that her kouhai might find some things about her that she can't do well yet even though she's their senpai now. She doesn't want that to happen. The manager told her that she likes the cute little sister vibe Akane is giving off, but she'd also like her to show a more adult side of herself. Akane answers to this request saying that she'll try her best showing off different sides during concerts now, for example during the parts when they can dance freely. 

 

Oharu started off saying that when she joined, she didn't know anything at all, and she now feels like she has gotten a little bit spoiled by everyone because of that - in a not so good way because it made her feel too at ease maybe. The manager pointed out that she got the dance part for Brand New Morning and that this is a great achievement she can be proud of. Oharu answers that she really wants to concentrate on that part for this concert, making sure she can pull it off, because she expects people to compare the four of them doing the special dance and flag parts.

 

The manager tells both of them that she wants them to take a step ahead, and to go further, and that she sees them achieve it, but only if they also want it themselves and work hard for it. She says that's what "Brand New Morning" is all about.

 

I also found it interesting what Risa says about Akane afterwards. She said she knew Akane when she first joined H!P and back then she was a girl only saying "yes" or "no" when being asked something. So she acknowledges the fact that Akane is now able to express her opinion clearly like this as great progress.
