No, my guess is really that when it comes down to the 12th gen. auditions, the timing was off. After they announced the audition in the beginning of this year, Morning Musume's popularity suddenly took off, against all expectations. There are some talented girls among the finalists with a lot of potential, who would have definitely added something to MM. But having a bunch of new girls around will only slow MM down at the moment. If things had been different for the group at the moment, Ruru would have probably gotten in. But yeah, this is just my guess.

I also think the situation was more or less like what you said. Tsunku's 12 gen audition announcement was so sudden. It came out a week after the 12th gen audition previews came out on Helo Station. Whats more significant was that the announcement came out a day after Momusu's Music Station appearance which was a huge success and got attention from alot of media people. As Momusu was promoting heavily the 10 member Morning Musume, it would be counter productive to suddenly add new girls. So Tsunku had to make a decision to stop the 12th gen audition. 

 

TRUE AND TRUE I think the same!!! and I see a lot of videos of ruru and really we need more talent girls on MM u.u the current are cute BUT I HOPE 12th gen add to ruru and Hirona in MM BUT IT¨S JUST MY DREAM

Wow. This girl is a really good singer! If she joined Momusu, she'd be among best singers that's ever been in the group.

 

But I agree that she doesn't look very "idolly"... maybe she would be better as a soloist doing more serious or dramatic songs instead of idol songs.

Yeah, she's really talented. I could see her in Morning Musume, but I'm more afraid that  if she got a lot of lines in songs Riho fans would just complain all the time and hate on her. Morning Musume seems full enough as it is. Unless a few members (other than Sayu) were to suddenly leave/graduate.

She's going to debut fast and become Sakura/Tomoko 2.0. They were in the Kenshuusei program for about a year or less before debuting. Ruru is talented no doubt. She can sing and dance. A well rounded girl would be good in Momusu.

 

Or maybe she'll become the next ace in S/mileage. Who knows?

She is talented and I could see her in Morning Musume for 12Ki easily, I can't really imagine her in S/mileage. If she did end up going there she'd easily be the best out of all of them. And I think I'd want to see S/mileage grow a bit more first before allowing new members. I don't want it to be like the sub memebers all over again.

Wow, that girl at the beginning was also very, very good. But the girl that was singing next to Ruru was almost screaming into her microphone 

 

The dance with the glow-in-the-dark gloves was amazing, MM should do something like this in the future

I was impressed by that too it was kind of a mash up with the Brainstorming formation, it's also got to be a good thing that ASH seems to use a lot of H!P songs in their training.

Her soloshot is show 2nd in the soloshots of the new PV ~ I hope that's a good sign!

She has a really cute and happy smile even though she isn't such a "cute" looking type. I'd say in a few years she can look mature really easily. =3
