So, LoVendoЯ will be in San Francisco, and it would be awesome to meet up and watch the concert together!

 

The dates/times/locations are:

7/27 (Sat) 5:15pm @ Pagoda Stage, Japantown
7/28 (Sun) 2-4pm @ Union Square

 

I will most likely be going to at least the Union Square event, and I'll probably arrive around 2 hours early for it.

 

Any thoughts?

I live about 2 hours away from SF, so I'm definitely going!   I'd love to go both days, but I'll probably only make it to Sunday .

 

Oh man, this was totally unexpected! I mean, I had hoped that either Reina or Morning Musume (or any group in H!P, really) would come back to west coast in the future, but I didn't think it'd be so soon. (Or so close!)

 

Edit: Change of plans. Guess I'm going on Saturday! Woot. (A little sad that I'll miss out on Kyary, but oh well.)

For me, It'll depend if the BART strike ends before then. If it ends, I'll go both days. If it goes on, I have to drive to SF and I'll only go one of the days.

Come to “TOYOTA x STUDIO4℃ meets ANA” Tent to see LoVendoЯ and other guests from Japan! For the two days at the festival, various events including autograph sessions, talk events, merchandise sales and mini-lives will be held inside the tent!

We just don't know at what times will LoVendoR will be in the tent for autograph sessions. I hope they sell merchandise, too.

Oh, and LoVendoR's saturday performance will be around 30~45 minutes long. Their live is at 5:15 and all acts at the pagoda stage, which is outdoors, will end at 6pm, making them the last act.

I plan to save some money. Will actually be in the festival on Saturday, spending most of my money over there. On Sunday, I will just spend my money on transportation and maybe food since I only plan to go to Union Square. I want to see LoVendoR and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.

Plus, I have to go back to Jury Duty after Sunday, so I really don't want to stay in San Francisco that long. ;

It's a once in a lifetime chance, I can't miss out on it~

^Well I live in Kansas, almost Missouri, so it is kinda a long distance away. But I just need to figure cost of everything so far I think I may spend $850 (minus goods) just going there. But it is worth it for Reina.

But if I do go I want to meet up with some Reina fans

Hot tip for travelling to the Bay Area for cheap - fly Southwest airlines into Oakland. It's about 1/2 the price of any other airline into any other bay area airport. From there, you can take BART (our public transit system) directly to San Francisco. A round trip ticket on BART from the airport to SF is about $8 round trip.

 

As soon as I know what time autographs will be, I'll know which day to go!

It's a good thing I'm staying in NorCal this summer Time to take the Amtrak down to SF! Now I just have to figure out which day to go. I think I'll most likely go to the concert on Sunday and then check out Japantown.

 

It would be cool to meet some other fans. It feels like we're a rare breed over here.

Getting There: Train Vs Car Vs Airplane

I was gonna drive there, but it's 300miles in >90F.

So I'm going via Airplane.

It's cheaper than the hotel I'm thinking about.

The plane ride less than 2hrs too.

 

Sleeping There: Roommate or Not

I would prefer a Roommate.

Anyone wants to share and split the room cost.

I would prefer a hotel close to "JapanTown"

"Hotel Kabuki" would be like $120 per person.

- Or any hotel near the event area if fine too.

- I'm flexable to get a room for 1(Sat) or 2(Fri & Sat) nights.

- it seems like the front row might get covered with press though

- also, hopefully we can have a cheering section, because looking at prior concerts there
