I don't think her singing is worse than rihos. But maybe that's just my point of view since I never liked Rihos voice...neither in Momusu or now. And Manaka improved quiet a bit in Juice=Juice. So I think she has a decent chance. Im curious what concept they choose for her. I feel most upfront solists which have been Idols kinda blend into each other. It would be fun to have someone with a new style. Like back in the days matsuura and goto felt totally different.

Are they launching her as a proper solo artist like Karin and Risa? And not just a concert performer like Miyabi and Mai.

Well...not to be salty but they can't give regular release to MaruKarin. Miya and Mai don't have anything. Bitter & Sweet's last single was made of two songs which were not given proper MVs, Airi is getting nice TV promo but they don't promote her singing career much...I don't think it's going to be different with Manaka. 

I'm not talking about Maa tho. Her health issues may be the reasons why we don't see her much.

Manakan isn't a bad singer, but that's not a voice i'd listen for a whole song.

She improved a lot since Country days, but i think been a solo artist needs more vocal capacity than she has now.

 

Hurt me to say that cause a love Manakan and she is wonderful in almost everything she does.
