^The release events are the thing that bothers me :/ But well, I'm still hoping for a new song anyways. 

I just really hope the big announcement won't be another "GEM VICTORY YEAR" thing where they just talk about their goals....or a new "concept" for themselves. 

I wouldn't mind if they all of a sudden decide to bring back Maaya early (but that's even more less likely than a new single announcement orz )

 

Ranachin mentioned that her throat hurt in a tweet not that long ago, and yesterday she still had a karaoke instagram live

You'd think she'd try to get some more rest....you can tell in the video too, she keeps coughing. Hopefully she'll be better by their last teiki kouen.

^ .. I didn't realize that Chanman is turning up as I miss her twitter notice ..
So I was surprise with no star when she turn up
So I reload and just drop whatever I have ..
In the end I got to spend 1300G on gifts just to barely make the stage ..
Anyway .. nowadays I am onto showroom ..
I think dropping some gifts is fine .. considering I used to spend a couple of hundreds voting on AKB48 senbatsu elections every year in the past ..

^I always end up with no stars when their live stream starts cause I forget to reload  

I once got some gold since I had leftover money from my google account. I think I got around 500 and it was so much fun cause the members really do notice if you drop special gifts. 

 

This is another one of Ranachin's live streams where she talks about the idol love ban and marriage (I missed the first half of this live stream so I'm glad this was uploaded)

 

It seems she also wonders why artists are able to date but idols aren't. 

She wants to experience love but she doesn't want a boyfriend  

And apparently she wanted to be a boy cause guys seem more easy going and are easier to talk to. 

I really love her live streams cause her talks are actually pretty interesting most of the time. 

 

Yesterday there was a crazy amount of live streams. You kinda get to see what it's like at their mu-mo events! 

They have a lot of games and it kinda looks like a festival

Anyway ..
Lana is at risk of being caught up and losing her 1st place in the Showroom event ..
the gap is only 68,564 points between her and the 2nd place person ..
(at one point I think it went as low as 20K)
So we got to work harder to help her ..

edit: Lana have already been overtaken by 80K+ pts ..

^Noooo Ranachin But just to clarify, the place doesn't really matter, she just needs the amount of points...it just makes her happy when she reaches 1st place lol

The other day, Kakochin mentioned that she also thought about possibly joining a SHOWROOM event to audition to be a model.

I guess she still wants to achieve her dream of being a model since last time was a failure...

As long as she doesn't enter the same audition as Ranachin, I'll try to support her as well

^I like her singing a lot too (especially in the Kataomoi cover!) 

But I think her solo in Speed Up (the one that she's covering for Maaya), is still a bit too tough for her...I kinda wish they would've let Jurin do it instead (but I guess they gave it to her since she originally doesn't have a solo in there...). 

 

BTW, Jurin had a SHOWROOM live this morning and I missed it AGAIN.

I kinda wished she would've made an announcement about it earlier, so even if it was at 6 in the morning, I could've set up an alarm for it...

Hopefully she comes back on again soon.

Since its S/mileage which is my no.1 group until GEM turn up
But anyway .. I will always support this 2 group till the end ..
After more than 10 years of idol fandom .. these are the only 2 groups that will always be special to me

Fun to note is ..
Chisami took Kanon part and Chisami is a well-known S/mileage/ANGERME fan and her oshimen was Kanon until she graduate and now its Takechan
Yuuki took Yuuka part .. lol .. pun?
Maho took Ayacho part .. more pun?
Chanman took Sakichy part

The thing is ..
My whole GEM fandom started because Chanman reminds me of Sakichy ..
When Sakichy left S/mileage .. it was the end of the world for me ..
I spend my time looking for someone who reminds me of Sakichy ..
And found her when I saw Chanman in the video of w-street Fukuoka in TIF 2012 ..
She just remind me of her .. and I found blog of other Streetsei saying about Chanman similarity to Sakichy ..
Basically .. Chanman also does Sakichy part for other S/mileage songs when w-street Fukuoka cover S/mileage songs
Dunno if she knows about her similarity with Sakichy .. lol .. they even have similar cute voice .. lol
and they are born on the same year

Anyway .. to add ..
I think there are almost no H!P fan in the crowd .. so you can say iDOL Street fan are not H!P fans ..
Because they dunno the special chant for the song
But I would hope they done it because it is a very nice chant

THEIR ONE MAN LIVE IS GOING TO BE LIVE STREAMED!!!

And the name of their one man was also revealed. It's called "evolve".

^Yeah, you'll need to have the paid subscription in order to watch it in higher quality and not be kicked out halfway through the show (which is what always happens to me...)

She's still second place but at least she reached her goal She worked pretty hard for this.

Well announcement speculation then

My most logic guess may be new single and not so likely album .. maybe mini-album like EP
Because they are out of stuff to promote as they always seem to be promoting a release ..
and Lana accidentally singing a unknown song on Showroom

What I think unlikely are:
-Adding members as they already got a lot of members..
-Major concert venue like Budokan as iDOL Street are not known to take risk but maybe those around 2K venue is possible
-oversea performance as Wa-suta would cover that unless its like LA .. lol

of course .. we were told that there wouldn't be bad news ..
So there should not be graduation ..
But I dunno if they call reshuffling and restructuring bad news .. but I think there is no point changing anything of GEM now ..

I think a dumb news would be them moving out of iDOL Street to continue as a mainstream girl group ..
hmm .. that's all I can think of

I am glad Lana reach her goal .. I dunno why but I keep missing her show in recent time ..
The last one I was busy and by the time I notice she was going off ..
Furthermore, she don't schedule her show and does not give her fans a headsup on timing ..
This makes it very hard to plan and max out for her as she turn up suddenly when I am out of star ..

I am quite hot on Showroom these day .. I have a main account, 2 alt accounts and I did gun quite a bit on all 3 for Lana ..
today I just started a 4th which I call an emergency backup account as I am totally out when Sara turn up .. but by the time I got it up .. her showroom ended ..lol

^Like you, I also think a new single is likely. But since their one man name is "evolve", I assume there must be some sort of change to be expected for them to call it that. 

But I also think them adding members is unlikely, not only because they already have a lot of members, but I think they should probably be wary of another Monami incident. 

I also wish they would bring back Maaya earlier, but I guess that's impossible 

 

GEM moving out of iDOL Street would put them in the same situation as TGS...which I don't think is a great idea. Not to mention TGS was already a pretty popular group prior to their non-idol announcement. Personally wouldn't want to see that happen to GEM. 

 

That's dedication you have there on showroom. I think half the time Rana came on, I was more or less out of stars. And it's going to happen again later on this month when her JELLY audition starts. I should reload my showroom stars more often...

The T-shirt looks nice. It's just weird that I can't really make out the word GEM. The color scheme is a lot better than some of their recent shirts. Probably one of their better shirts in a while...although the last GEM T-shirt wasn't too bad as well. 

The towel is definitely better than the last one. Color and design wise. 

The last one is a smartphone ring. To be honest...I'm not sure that it'll sell very well...I think the wristbands are better and would appeal to people more. I like the fact that they used my favorite GEM logo though. I wish that would be their official logo instead But the colors are too crazy for me.

I do not know if you know me but I go by the name Quizzald(クイザルド/クウィザルド), but I follow you on twitter. And I always see you around the net when it comes to GEM.

I really like their shirt and towel design compared to their previous ones. The color scheme is pretty nice but it is true it is hard to make out the group name unless you look at it closely.
I think girls who like using their phones a lot would be interested on buying the phone ring. Although I won't use it on my phone if ever I buy one. Mostly because of the color scheme. It is too colorful for me.
I was supposed to pay for subscription to be able to watch their live on the 18th but then, I realized I have an exam the same time so I did not proceed with it.

Nacchi shots are good too. My friend was going crazy about it. Lol.

They are not putting it up for sale on their mu-mo store ..
and I can't even find it on Yahoo auction
I really like the previous white and multi-colors one ..

I think the new one is alright.. but I still like the previous one better because of the multi-colors ..
I hope they will put it up for sale .. and it has a big enough size ..
I only got 1 GEM T-shirt after so long because they do not put it up for sale online and when they do the biggest size is too small

I got my MM'17 Maria phone ring .. 2 of it ..
But I didn't use it because .. I use wireless charging .. lol
