[Charlo]

MMJ are an idol group based in Hiroshima.



The girls themselves are big AKB48 fan. They started out as an AKB dance group, called MMJ48 but have since dropped the 48 part and now have their own songs. Whilst they still perform AKB dances they have become idols in their own right.

There are a total of 16 members. Not all members perform at every event due to schedules many girls have jobs, the others are still in school.

Ah, good. I wish some of the other more blatantly ---48-"inspired" groups did this as well.

Anyway, they sound quite decent. Will be keeping an eye on them.

Hi. I'm from Hiroshima and a fan of MMJ.
I am the person who have posted the article of MMJ and other related articles for Ja-Wikipedia.
I'll be so glad if anyone would translate it into or make a new one for En-Wikipedia (or any other languages).
Well, I myself can do it, but I don't have enough time for that.

Anyway, I'm very happy that many people outside Japan have been interested in MMJ.

Misako Ishida is called "Mitako". She is 21 years old and getting to be 22 on Dec.27th.
She learned to sing and dance at Actors School Hiroshima, a famous school for providing professional entertainers.

山下弓乃 Yuno Yamashita is called "Yuni". She is 24 years old and she is a nursery teacher.
She had no experience of singing or dancing before she joined MMJ.

Yes, guys. Perfume and Riho Sayashi in Morning Musume are from Actors School Hiroshima.
In MMJ, Mitako and Rina are from there. Rina was one of the best student in the history of the school.

About the movie that ShuCreamu poiinted. The members in this are Eeetan, Rina, Natch, Yuichan, Satsuki, Shichan, Mitako, Erika, Ayaka, Jasmine, Tsugumi, Kyao, and Satchan.
Absent members are Mamina, Nao, Yuni.

The youngest is Shichan (Shizuka Miyawaki) and the oldest is Yuichan (Yui Sakoda).
