I'm guessing we'll see Maa-chan make any early appearance at the release event in about about 7 hours.. or.. some not very good news—assuming the issue with her blog remained unaddressed. Further speculation under spoiler.

If she does make an appearance, she'll basically reveal that the blog fiasco was in part a surprise prank, which also gave her more time to focus on preparing for an earlier return. Blog posts can be hidden and after the appearance, all affected posts would be restored.

If the above turns out to just be wishful thinking, there may be some bad news announced. I'm not going to venture guesses here but I would like to address one particular theory.

"The one who deleted the blog entries was Maa-chan."

To my understanding, H!P members they themselves don't have the ability to post blog entries and do so by sending it to a manager that first reviews it before posting it online. H!P members would likewise not have the ability to delete any posts by themselves as well. Speculation that Maa-chan was the one that deleted the post, at least to me, is essentially an impossibility.

It would be weird to me if they still didn't address the blog issue at the release event, as its non-address thus far has been odd enough. Though the possibility remains I guess. As a Maa-chan fan, I'm hopeful we hear something positive. Or at the very least.. something at all I guess. Trying to remain positive, nevertheless worried. The last few months have taken years off my life expectancy. The last few days aren't helping my last few days.

On a more positive note, Maa-chan was selected as one of the top 3 members that Kaga Kaede would like to go karaoking with, in a recent interview.

Kaga　No. 2 is Satou Masaki-san. The reason I selected Satou-san is simply because I think it'd definitely be fun to hang out with her.

——Needless to say, not just to karaoke, you basically want to hang out with her right.

Kaga　Yes. I want to go to various places with her. For example, when you go to an amusement park and lining up at an attraction, you might be tired and just fiddle with your phone, right. However, if I go with Satou-san I definitely don't think I would. I think since we'd always be talking about something, about to commit something (laughs), I'd like to try going out with her.

——Somehow I think you'd likely be the one to chaperon (laughs).

Kaga　(laughs) I think that'll probably happen.

——Now then, back to the discussion, if you were singing karaoke with Satou-san, what would be a good song?

Kaga　Well... Rather than, say, singing together, I'd like to listen to Satou-san sing. Satou-san would sing.. a Hello Project song. For me, I want to listen to Satou-san sing "Rock no Teigi"!

But...ufp shouldn't really do that, they know by experience that the worst thing they could do is trying to make everyone think one member doesn't exist and make her leave without anyone knowing it, also, it's maachan, the girl who doesn't give up easily even if it's hard.

She talked about dancing in one of the deleted blogs and she seemed frustrated there, but i don't think she would be like "that's it, i'm leaving the group" without fighting before.

Also, the professional thing by ufp to do if her condition started getting worse the day the blog entries was making a statement first about her condition and not delete her blog entries, is not professional and it's disrespectful to the fans and also her, for not giving the oportunity for her to speak up.

 

Duu also talked about Maachan in her most recent blog entry, not something about the blog stuff but about wanting to go out with her to eat or something, i think that if something really bad would have happened Duu wouldn't talk about Maachan like always, also, Duu has been talking about Maachan in positive ways, like "we will protect maachan's place in the group" or saying that they would come back as a group of 13 people in the spring tour.

 

 

 

Ruru's blog posts were restored?

 

She just said that she wanted to go back to the group and is already in official photos of the spring tour, it would be just sad and honestly bad and not professional of ufp if they decided she had to leave without even a real chance.

 

I'm really anxious about this thing to be honest, but i'm trying to think positive. It's really hard considering the hiatus, but we just have to believe in Maachan and in what she wants to do.

EDIT: "No news is good news"? While I'm relieved there was no bad news announced, we're back to the waiting game. At least soon enough we'll get to see more Maa-chan in the spin-off version of Morning Miso Soup. I wanna stay up to catch that live and see if we'll finally get a blog update but I really should head off to bed. Tomorrow er later on today, it is!

I'm so glad to see most of the posts have been restored. Maybe we'll start seeing Maa-chan's daily blog posts soon.

Someone asked Mizuki if Maa-chan was okay, at the release event, to which she smiled and answered that Maa-chan is doing fine. I saw a few reports like this with the cheki and handshake event on the 5th as well.

——Please explain your reasoning.

Kaga　It's the airheaded part of her. When we're working on signing things, while there are times when the ink doesn't come out of the calligraphy pen, Satou-san would say, "The ink's not coming out though", while squeezing the pen, making the ink just glob out, which makes that sheet unusable. However, in this case she doesn't report it to the manager the way it is; she'll quickly put the sheet back in its original bag, then quickly take a new one... (laughs)

Yokoyama　(laughs) How cuuute!

Kaga　If I did that 100% someone would get mad at me, but if a tiny bit airheaded Satou-san did it, since it would turn out to be like oh well, there's no helping it—I'm jealous of parts like that.

——I see. It's because Kaga-san is the serious type that you've come to rather admire, No.3, Nonaka-san's clumsy side and Satou-san's airheaded-ness.

Regarding solos in the Momusu version of Get you!, a few days back someone posted on one of Maa-chan's threads on 2ch what they thought it was, to which I'm in agreement with.

From Haga's last blog entry, she started collecting questions for her Q&A and provided an example by answering Maa-chan's questions. Translation(and translation notes following it) of pertinent parts under spoiler.

MaaDuu's good points are,

Translation notes: I skipped over Haa-chin's good points because this is a Maa-chan summary. As well, for brevity, parts of the translation lacks nuance so I'd like to clarify on those. The first of Maa-chan's good point is mentioning how Maa-chan will join in and give advice to Akane. The second point is about Maa-chan listening a lot to what Akane has to say; not necessarily stories specifically. Last point, you could replace "rely on" with "trust"; I opted to use rely in this case but in certain cases trust would be more correct. And with the last line, in case it wasn't clear, Akane doesn't want MaaDuu to end.

I don't follow Haga much so after reading this, I was surprised at how Maa-chan and Haga were closer than I had thought. I knew Haga has a soft spot for Ishida so I think she likes IshiDuu the most simply because they're the two members she likes the most. In terms of shipping, MaaDuu seems like the real #1 for Haga, in my opinion.

With the Q&A on Yokoyama Reina's last blog, when asked to talk about the points she likes about each member, for Maa-chan she mentioned, "Liviliness and cuteness of her voice."

Oh really? I think Haga is closest to Maa at the moment? page11 posted something a few weeks ago where she already said she likes Maa more than Duu. This was following the incident of Maa taking her by the hand on stage that was re-posted so much. Also in the 13ki revelation video you can see her clinging to Maa-chan for dear life out of nervousness.  And when looking at the girls interactions she's really around her a lot for a few months now. That saying of course her bestie is still her gen peer Haachin.  

I had honestly no idea so far that she's close to Daishii?
