　――ツアーが２年ぶりにスタートしました

 

　石田　めちゃめちゃ楽しくて！　私、「生きててコンサートしか楽しみがない！」ってぐらい、コンサートが楽しいんです。コンサートが人生においてこんなに幸せを感じられるものなんだったって、再認識してしまいました。「ツアーは当たり前にできるものじゃない」と自覚して、なお大切なんだなと思ったら、楽しすぎて！　その時間が大切すぎて。今、人生のピークですね。コンサートは。フフフ。

 

　――舞台から見える景色はどうでしたか

 

　石田　（感染対策で）ファンの方からの歓声はなかったんですけど、もうフラッシュバックですね。サイリウム（ファンが振るペンライト）が揺れているのを見た瞬間に、本当に泣きそうになりました。それぐらい高まりました。本当に泣いたのは最後のＭＣの時です。その会場は２年前にゲネプロ（通しのリハーサル）までやったのに、コロナ禍でツアーが中止になった。その時、リーダーの譜久村聖さんが「いつか初日を迎える時のためにゲネプロやっておこうね。いつかまたツアーできるといいね」という言葉があって。それを振り返った時に泣いちゃいました。

 

――２年は長かった？

 

　石田　あっという間ではあったんですけど…長かったですね。１５期にとっては今回のツアーが２回目になるんですよ。普通だったら、もっと経験できているはずなんです。でも、１５期もこの２年ですごくいろいろな経験をしているのでたくましくなってて、任されるパートも多くなってます。すごく成長しているんですね。だから見る人はすごく驚くんじゃないかなーと思います。

 

　――５月にはフェス「ＪＡＰＡＮ　ＪＡＭ」に出演する

 

　石田　ツアーのリハーサルを、いざ通しでやってみようってなった時に結構、体力的にきつくて。１時間半のライブなのにつらくて、あれヤバいなと（苦笑）。で、会場入りして衣装着て、靴を履いて、段差があるステージで通しリハーサルやった時も、メチャきつかったんです。

 

　――ブランクは想定以上だった

 

　石田　でも、いざ初日になってやってみると余裕だったんです。だから「声援の力」ってすごいって思ったし、「ＪＡＰＡＮ　ＪＡＭ」もイケるわ！と思いました（笑い）。

 

　――今年のフェスでの目標は

 

　石田　「魅せる」ですね。また、このコンサートでは６月８日発売の新曲「Ｃｈｕ　Ｃｈｕ　Ｃｈｕ　僕らの未来／大・人生　Ｎｅｖｅｒ　Ｂｅｅｎ　Ｂｅｔｔｅｒ！」も披露しています。いろんな会場でみなさんに会えるのが楽しみです！

【実はカレー好き】石田には、スパイスカレー好きという一面がある。今回のインタビューの場所は東京・世田谷区経堂の南インドカレー店「スリマンガラム」で行われた。店主のマハリンガム氏はキャリア３３年のシェフで、あのマツコ・デラックスも絶賛する腕前を持つ。

 

　石田はマハリンガム氏のスペシャルカレーに「めちゃくちゃおいしいです！　南インドカレーはほぼ初めてなんですけど、辛さも程よいですね」とドはまり。マハリンガム氏は「私がスパイスカレーの作り方を教えてあげますよ」と講師役を買って出た。石田が弟子入りする日は近い？
