@Zam yeah, that's exactly what my interpretation was as well. Except I was thinking the mother wanted to keep it a secret because she just didn't want her daughter to know she used to be an idol, and she was praying because it was a scared time in her life, I guess.

私がこの活動をして
もうすぐ約1年になります。
1年前の自分は
まさかアイドルになるなんて
思っても見なかったと思います。
1期生メンバーゆかぽん＊かすみん
＊あいちゃん＊れみれみ
＊えにゃりんで力を合わせて
8月13日にデビューをしました。

最初は本当にレッスンスタジオも
先生もいなくて自分たちで
やってきたのが今は
5期生にまで増えました。



この1年の中でたくさんの事があったよね。
毎回突然の試練発表や
お仕事が決まったり、
時には本気でぶつかり
合って言い争ったり、
なかなか自分が思っている
表現が出来なくて、
みんなに相談したりしたね
私はそのたびに
“こんなに素敵なメンバーに出会えて良かった”
って思ってたよ！


この1年間でたくさんの
クライアント様にも会いました。
突然の試練の時や泣き出して
しまった時には優しい言葉を
かけてくれたりしました。


私のなかではやっぱり
クライアント様や
神様じゃなくて、
ひとりの友達なんだって
思いました。
それはここを辞めても変わりません。


私は今8月21日にデビュー
する“northern angels”
のメンバーとしてまた、
ソロデビューの為に
頑張っています。




たとえ、活動する場所や
グループや名前が変わっても
私であることに変わりはありません。
なのでこれからも応援よろしくお願いします。

It's really hard to explain fully, but...

It's kinda a rip-off of AKB48... to an extent.

But they just released a single...

And former Hello! Pro Egg, Irori Maeda is a new member in this group. (That's kinda why we know about it. )

I'm convinced if you just get a bunch of pretty high-school aged girls with no previous talent, train them to hold a microphone and dance. They would sell records, because there are men who like teenagers, and that kind of man will always exist and always will exist, and in Japan, they have a lot less shame about it then they probably should if they are over the age of like, 30, and the girl is under the age of say, 16.

Idol groups will sell. But it won't always be like this. The 90's didn't have that many idol groups. The music industry won't always be like that.

Also, MORE FEMALE FANS for everything!!

Also, I LOL'ed at the little girl comment, she said something like "hurry up mom! I need to go to watch AKBN0!!", her mom was like "AKBN0? Didn't you want to say AKB48?", the girl: "AKB48? What's that?", mom: "you don't know them? They were really popular back then", girl: "I don't know them, anyways, now AKBN0 is popular, so let's go see them!!"
Then it shows this TV announcer I suppose, they're able to finally reach Kouhaku Uta Gassen

I just randomly came across this topic since I don't usually post in this part of the forum but I thought it was something to do with AKB48 and I thought I'd check it out... no it's got nothing to do with them they just ripped off half of it.

I guess I could give them a chance since they've released a single What's it called?

Although for debut sales from a new artist I think 2k is normal S/mileage's major debut got about that I think
