Again thank you for your great report / review. I waited a few days with my reply so more people have a chance to actually see all the stuff you wrote before my post opens the next page. Please everyone, go back a back and read what turbos86 wrote.

 

It's great that even though you are Lilha's fan Mai totally put her spell on you. She was the first girl I liked when I found out about them (I'm very thankful to the person who showed me them) until Karen and Lilha slowly made her competition. Overall everyone seems to be so nice. I guess that's the advantage of being really just a local small idol group. It's much more family. As for Kabe-don, I had to look that up online. Well...I think it's good you didn't do it I guess this kind of stuff is only effective if you two are alone and she's actually into you. It's really great how their parents were grateful for the trip you took to see them, especially Lilha. The way she hugged the teddy you gave her must have felt awesome to see. However I guess you would have prefered to receive that hug directly instead of the bear.

 

That's too bad SeriKaren was only a temporary thing but at least they seem to move on. Who knows, maybe we'll see them in H!P KSS or AKB or at least another "rather famous" idol group soon. I sure hope their talent won't go to waste if they want to continue. I get really nostalgic when I think of the good old times of seeing all 8 (then 7...) of them on USTREAM. Lilha tended to come a bit late. I still think they could have actually gotten quite famous if they really wanted to. But the experiences you described make it worth they stayed small and local I guess.

 

If they get new members I hope it will be good chemistry like with "OG" Jewel Kiss and they add them to the lyrics of Magic Of Jewel.

Well, Kabe-don is a big meme in Japan right now, a lot of people have done it for their Morning Musume cheki with great results.

And I'm just glad Lilha likes my gifts to her. Everyone there were welcoming, it made the trek worth while.

 

We'll have to see what holds for the group in the future.

Lilha did mentioned on showroom that she has no plans to quit any time soon, it never even crossed her mind. Mocchan also wants to be a famous idol so she'll keep going. And Mai-chan, as long as she's happy, Encho will keep the group going for her.

It was a free event at a mall, and they weren't the only act performing. I blame the small turn out on the scene in Sapporo being so small.

Like you said, they were having fun and that's what matters!

Doesn't Mai's mom sing the demo versions for songs as well as doing some of the dances as well? I remember a few years ago seeing them on USTREAM and she was teaching them a new song and I think the audio for the song was her voice.

Lilha got accepted to a high school in Tokyo, so she's moving away. Mai-chan and Mocchan doesn't have any future plans in the works, so it's up in the air what they will do.

Since it seems like Hypericum took over the spot of "indie idols I like" for me, I decided to check up on my beloved Jewel Kiss girls again, how they are doing. It seems like Lilha is doing good with her new unit? I really can't say much and I didn't even find out much (to be fair I didn't dig that much either).
