SDN48’s debut single, “GAGAGA”, to be released in Korea

Sister unit of AKB48, SDN48, will be releasing their major debut single, “GAGAGA“, on November 24th, and it’s been announced that “GAGAGA” will also be released in Korea on the same day.

The producer of SDN48, Akimoto Yasushi, revealed the plans at the “Asian Music Industry Leaders’ Forum”, which was held in Seoul on October 23rd. According to Akimoto, “GAGAGA” was made by a Korean composer, and there is a rap part in Korean. He also said that the concept of the song is “J-POP which sights on K-POP.”

This song is really stuck in my head.. I've been looping it non-stop for the past 3 days.
Somehow Kohara Haruka's voice really stands out to me.
I really love Urano Kazumi, Konan, Serina and Akita Kazue in this single.

It reminds me a bit of K-pop styled songs. Don't yell at me for this. I think its a good thing it sounds a bit like k-pop. The temp and the raping remind me of k-pop songs.

Bad sound mix. There are some live parts. They are quite decent if you can ignore, again, the mix. Because you can feel the volume faders going up and down, and they bring this suddenness sensation, as if they are without breath or they are arriving late to sing their lines.

SDN48 starts to do some PR events in Korea, like going to Cube Entertainment to meet 4minute, exchange best wishes and those things. Anybody knows if they are going to appear on music shows over there?

They are also going to appear on Music Japan on 11/21 with Ikimono Gakari, SPEED or KAT-TUN.

So they have Korean lyrics in GAGAGA and they're doing PR stuff in Korea and their music has the K-pop beat imo. They seem pretty damn Korean. Haha.
