Anyway.. even the figure do show that they sell a lot more for their bikini singles..
It actually don't make much sense by the fact that idol goes by multiple buys..
Its not like their fans will get any more content if they buy more of the same thing ..
I actually think it seasonal.. it sold better because it summer and they for more time to promote as its school holiday period.
I also think It's partially competition as many idol groups are coming up.. someone got to give..

in all.. I just think It's their promotion and exposure..

Yes, Avex being a big company with plenty of trending artists they don't need their idol groups to do specially well. And that's why they don't get lots of promotion even when they get some success.

I think Avex and Universal's strategy for their idol groups is to maximize their results without putting to much money in them. SUPER GiRLS just like PASSPO, TGS or even Idoling!!! are not meant to make big success.

That's different for AKS and H!P cause if their groups drop too low in term of economic results the companies themselves are in serious danger.

 

This strategy is both positive and negative for the fans. The good point is the groups are sustainable even if they don't do very well. But the bad point is the groups will unlikely get the opportunity to break into top idols.

 

 

I also prefer the style of "Hanamichi". "Ahaha" was disappointing. The matsuri theme is not a bad idea in my opinion but the song is too weak too be really funny.

No.3 with 8,115 sales ..

SKE48 got no.2 with 14,939 so its very possible that SUPER GiRLS got more than 15K..
so their sales should be close to 25K now .. so it very possible they get pass 30+K ..
but it would be nice if they get to or close to 40K ..

big record label like these have the resources .. so they can afford to have many artists as many resources are already sink cost and it cost the same to them if they have 10 groups or 1 group ..
furthermore .. many small profit can become big profit and they are more stable as they don't put everything in one basket ..

ya the song is kind of weak .. as it is good to have that tradition part but I think there are too much of that ..and the fast part have little quality as its like repeating 1 catchy part ..
But as I said .. i like the coupling song a lot more .. as its a much better song .. but I must admit its not suitable to be an idol main single song ..

No.2 with 10,616 sales ..
We now have a known minimum sales of 18,731 from Day 2 and 3..
how big is the sales would depend how much is the Day 1 which they got 4th so we don't know the figure..
I think they should have pass the 30K mark now so it should be what they usually get ..
But it's amazing that their sales actually went up ..probably from the event ..

I got my singles today ..


I got 2 version (CD+Blu-ray and CD only).
For the random photo inside I got SUPER GiRLS Koume and SENDAI Twinklemoon Pukka ..
I was kind of disappointed with the size of the photo, it's card size. On the info, it just state that it's photo so I was expecting a normal photo size... >.<

ps.

I forgot to say that for the random photos inside the single, not only its 1 of 70 different types ..
There is a chance that the photo may be autographed ..

Ah cool i like that there is a chance for an autograph makes it more interesting. Will have to wait a while for mine since i ordered it with other stuff like the S/mileage single and new SUPER GiRLS photobook so will have to wait another week maybe before it dispatches. Glad to see sales are picking up. Idol sales are always so random just depends on events since people will wait and buy for events so often you get two crap days then three good ones or something.

Day 4 they drop to 22th position ..
Day 5 they went up a place to 21st position ..
This 2 days must be really low sales ..

I hope they finish with a strong sales for day 6 which is today ..

This is the last day for week 1 ..
looking at it .. I would guess they did make 30K .. I would be shock if they don't ..
But I doubt it will reach 40K .. as a matter of fact .. My guess is below 35K ..
Unless .. I badly misjudge Day 1 and it is around 20K .. then it would pass 40K ..
but obviously .. I hope I really badly misjudge it and they do get pass 40K because of all the effort involve in promoting the single ..

Well i'm glad it worked out for them sales wise. Still think it's kind of a boring single but they should be selling well being the flagship idol group for a big label. And they deserve it because they are a good bunch of girls who work hard.

Also got the new photobook which is really good. So thick and full of great photos plenty of swimsuit shots too. Also comes with 3 randomly selected photos and i got two members i wanted so more luck here

It finally arrived! The guy who got me a copy sent it with like the slowest possible postage or something so it took forever . Decent book though if you like gravure. Mirei's sexiest stuff yet. I really like this shot her smile has been something that stood out to me she was the first girl i really noticed in the group. It's kind of cheeky here almost seductive but seems she had a lot of fun doing the photoshoot.

so thats why she looked very familiar. since i didnt know about her being in other groups since now

I remember watching it for Reicheru some time ago.. I remember they were split into teams for training and had to perform in the final in the teams..
Reicheru isn't one of the favorites but she got in somehow .. did i get it right?
