I usually dislike OPVs but this one is pretty good! I think it even uses the audio from when Shawako sang the Evangelion OP?



Part of me is a little disappointed some must see clips might have been left out, but when I think about it, youtube might not allow a video long enough to show them all?

For example, Shawako doing the "Oklahoma Mixer" as seen in the Pareo wa Emerald Type C bonus content.

What I recently wondered about...
Did she used her real/ natural voice in those recent Shukan AKB "dramas"? Usually her voice sounds either ultra-high/softish/low-volume or really scary (when she does her crazy thing). But during those little play-acting parts her voice sounds amazingly natural compared to her other voices.

I can't figure this girl out really.

If all this voice stuff is part of some kind of acted idol persona it's really impressive — keeping such thing up over such long time must be hard work with all the time she's in public eye — it's easy to slip an acted role.

Remember that episode (on shuukan I think) where they had hidden cameras all over the room while she was talking to a staff member?

She talked with her usual high-pitched then too so if it's all an act then she must be acting in front of staff members too

I can't really figure her out either but that's part of what makes her interesting I guess.

She WAS a tough cookie to crack but im starting to understand her character.

thanks to two tips:

1) She is a BIG fan of Takarazuka (Former Morning Musume, Takahashi Ai, is also a big fan.....which is why i completely understand why Ai-chan choose to do plays after her graduation)
2) She has an "ability" to "transform" into a character, or to figuratively "dress up" in a character, regaurdless of her shy personality. I understand this kuz when i was doing plays in HS, i seen ppl cast that had timid and shy personalities, but on the stage they became a completely different person(according to the character they are playing on stage). It really shocks u at first, until u get use to it

However, i still dont completely understand her character 100% but im at a good start


imma be on the look out for other idols (AKB related or not) who love Takarazuka as much as Sawako and Takahashi Ai

Sawako was already apart of my SKE favorites, but I watched the Takamina x SKE48 SP on MuJack and discovered she is from Osaka (i know its on the first page, but assumed she was from Nagoya lol)

As I have a bias towards Osaka ppl, she gets a rank up in my book lol

Shawako will graduate from SKE48 in March. 
 
The reason is similar to Nakayan's graduation, as Shawako will enroll as a student in a voice actress academy from April.
 
It really sucks to hear that a great member such as Shawako is graduating. She's really unique and has contributed with a lot of her peculiar self, but - this is a great opportunity for her - and it's something that both fits her and something that she can excel at, so all the best to her.

Something like this was expected at some point. She's older by idol standards and has made voice acting a clear goal she wanted to aim for. But it's as unfortunate as it always is to see someone go. I hope she finds a long and successful voice acting career.

She's really going to have to work on her lisp though. That's the main thing hindering her talents for voice acting.

Well that's just false rumors in my opinion. Matsui Rena herself has said that she still likes working as an idol, and is annoyed by people spreading rumors about her leaving. She was very pissed about this in fact. SKE is now on shaky ground because of all these elite members announcing their graduations, and I doubt she, who thinks so much of the group, would abandon it when they need her to be there to support it right now.

 

Suda leaving is more of a possibility.

Anyway .. leaks does happen ... and it don't have to be 100% correct because things may change along the way ..

The problems to it is 2ch has a lot of people and many rumors ... given enough people making guesses ..some will come true ..
well .. we are deadly accurate here on H!O with some H!P predictions ..

furthermore .. if you make assumption base on a certain logical direction .. the chance of it happening increase ..
For .. Sawako and Rena. it has a direction as they are the 2 members that are successful, in their adulthood and looks to be able to move on ..
Akari is technically next ... Masana and Airi look too comfortable at where they are ..
If the guy had predicted like Non or Jurina going and it happen .. then I would think its a leak..
because its a prediction of a much lower chance and it happens

So if you combine the two .. numbers and minds .. you do get things happening the way its said ..

If it is the same person, there should be a level of validity regardless of the names. It wouldn't make much sense to leak information and arbitrarily decide to throw someone unrelated into the mix unless the person's source (if it isn't him) is feeding him false information intentionally. It seems fair to believe as much of it as you want and there's enough to suggest to me it's not 100% bs. But maybe it is 99% haha. You can't do anything with this kind of information though other than talk about it, and it's not like Rena is going to say anything other than "I love my job" and "I hate that people would spread that rumor," so those words mean nothing to me.

I can understand Akarin going if Hata goes and Rena has hinted for a while about plays in her blogs, however if she goes then Airin will probably go as she has often admitted that Rena is the only reason she is in
SKE and she is in demand as an illustrator which is an outside job that she is already doing. She also has trouble with her legs only being able to perform one show.

The other to look out for may be Yukiko who may follow Ogi.

Not to worry though we have Nan and Nao who want to be joint centre of the group and then there are the rising stars Saya and Mizu who are making a name for themselves even before Choko no Dorei.

Did I hit a nerve or something? You seem to be trying to single me out and aggravate me.

 

She's been watching a lot of stage plays recently, some of them in person and others on the net (which may have something to do with professional stage plays starring 48 group girls that have been happening over the course of the 48 group's existence). She had been expressing her desire of wanting to participate in something like those, so maybe they're giving her a chance to do that. Graduating though, at a time like this? That wouldn't be a smart idea and pretty much destroy quite a bit of their efforts for building up the SKE brand (face it, Matsui's one of the two aces of the group). So unless SKE itself is disbanding or they are unhappy with the management's decisions and are revolting, then I don't see there being a good reason for her to announce her graduation.

 

With so many elite members of SKE graduating though, I guess the possibility of them disbanding in the long run is actually plausible. Or maybe it's that whole "The new generation is taking over" thing?

 

What is suspicious about this insider informant is that he hasn't actually been caught yet despite him posting several times on his work mobile (a lot of high-industry workplace tracks and archives all sent emails and messages to prevent corporate spying and information leaks). Maybe the management know and are just letting him do as he pleases? Or maybe it's actually the management that are pulling the strings behind these "leaks"? Either way, I find this quite interesting.
