Saw her on this show with Takada and Hirata and her voice was so surprisingly cute I felt compelled to make a thread. She might be running out of time being a Kenkyuusei at 21 years old but hope she gets promoted or becomes a seiyuu soon.

I really, really like her.

She sticks out from a crowd when she gets the chance to talk or be in the spotlight, and as such is easy to remember - even if you don't know names of the girls. Her voice is so soothing / comfortable to listen to (every time she says something I get fascinated ) and she's super-cute too.

Here's for hoping that they decide to promote her.

I was going to work, and read the SKE page where the news was published and had to check the Team E names. Didn't see Shawako there and was all but then saw her name in KII!

Shawako was so cute in the 2011.02.04 episode of Shuukan AKB! Might as well have called the episode Shawakon AKB since she was pwning everyone left and right!

Thought I bumped this thread but here goes again! Sorry for the double post.

Shawako special on Shuukan AKB!!!! They had to use hidden cameras to try get her since she "hates cameras" yet is an idol. Get it on the tracker

Found out quite a bit more about her thanks to that episode: she commutes from Osaka, has 7 PSPs, loves Takarazuka....she also makes her voice low and plays the violin in a pub....

Kotaku even did an article on her thanks to that episode.

Yeah there are some not so well known members hidden in SKE too (just like Masana too).

Shawako really rocked the test .. I just quickly checked the episode again. Aww~~~ kawaisou Shawako, they liked to put the camera on ehr when she was right
Same goes for the special episode (which was bound to happen after the test shuhkanakb episode). How sneaky to secretly film her.
But 7 PSP'S? OMG ^^. Well Takarazuka is not that bad as we all know Aichan likes them (and the 2 Momusu Musicals with them were also good .

About the violin .. I think way back when they did the SKE Band thing she was introduced with her violin.
While playing the violin there shows also that she has a slight urge to do things properly as you can see when she does not hit a note right.

They should give her a role in Majisuka to get her some fighting spirit ^^.
Until then one always gets the urge to run over and give her a big hug all the time ^^.

Yeahhh!!!! Shawako can be one of those characters that switched personalities like Gekikara! When she switches she can do her low voice! Makes sense b/c she likes curry too!! Her name can be Takarazuka or Seven!!!

Off topic: Masana's hidden? She had a decent role in Mousou Deka and she's not as hidden as some of the KII or E girls AFAIK.

Shawako seemed to be hidden away until Ana-Ana Shokai.

Rewatched her Shukan AKB special w/ subtitles and it was even better!

Wait, she turned 22 being still KKS? Wasn't she the oldest of them all? Weird, nearly upper age limit. But now she is taking part in main promotion of Pareo wa Emerald (like shoots for WPB, good BTW); I'm hunting her down in live performances, but camera still doesn't stop on her, so it's hard sometimes to recognize her.
