Before continuing with the conversation, I’m just testing that theory so it is anything personal or whatever. Maybe I should try to explain in a different way, if the number examples are ‘categories’ jumping from one to other implies a different group. In that sense, for example, Morning Musume will be different groups that share the same name and it is not very fruitful to make comparisons between them, they appeal and affect in different ways. I see your argument and you are right, using the front girls (from both teams) to hook the audience could and can work. But AKB has always been this kind of ‘populous’ thing, the classroom metaphor and maybe I just try to explain it in this way, so in that sense, that small number of members is strange. Is just that I find it counterproductive switching from 17 members to 9 to maybe in the next one again to 16-20 (because as I suggested before they will appeal to me in different ways). I don’t see it as a problem, I will accept it just like everybody else, just trying to think inside this frame of mine… (and as I said a silly frame for that matter)
